At first when I saw Taeyeon's face like that in the beginning I was really shocked as well. It was so unexpected compared to what the teaser only showed. The teaser was so like TTS and all about that glamorous lifestyle

I think MV is a story about haters of taeyeon. Killers are haters and taeyeon tries to counterattack them. but haters blame for her counterattack (2nd killer stares at taeyeon after she got slapped) because taeyeon is a public figure. So taeyeon wants to diverge from these circumstances and wants to find "something new". But we can know even that is a TV show of taeyeon from the last scene... That is too bad:(
