I can't say enough abouut Taeyang's generrouity toward Jimin. He basically split the song with him, instead of only giving Jimin a few lines. That intro. I will be looking into Taeyang's solo work and with Big Bang. Suga interviewed Taeyang on his S8Chiwta (sp?) video show and he fanboyed over Taeyang so much. PS JImin's solo album to come out in Februray!!!!! 💜

That's how I see it. Taeyang helped Jimin a lot with this announcement! I'm sure Jimin was very nervous! He's been told so many times he can't sing live! He said practically! He's nothing but nice and respectful and gave credits when asked, he just changed labels and that company don't usually cater to international audience. They did their best whenever we tag them to do something. And it's common practice in SK not to give credits to features, That That and Rush Hour literally didn't give credits to Suga and Jhope in Spotify but Taeyang did for Jimin.

Just because kpop stan twt is so vile towards him and spread the narrative he can't sing live by editing videos and using the two times his voice cracked because of exhaustion of singing live continuously DURING WORLD TOURS because he refused to lip sync and that time all bts members have problem with their in-ear pieces and had terrible performance but only ganged up on Jimin don't make him a terrible live singer. Kpop stan twt stanning idols who are afraid to sing live and token stanning legends like bigbang just to sht on Jimin's vocals should stfu already. There's reasons producers and dozens of idols and anyone who worked with Jimin has nothing but praises for him. And being nervous isn't a bad thing and jimin had said already he doesn't think about the times he made mistakes on stage, he doesn't let it linger on his mind. He doesn't need kpop stan twt validation, he's perfectly happy doing what he loves and working hard for himself and people who appreciates him. We honestly dgaf if kpop stan twt realize "oh Jimin can sing" because their opinion is trash to begin with. We can live without their opinion.

You can see the kind of interview you were mentioning, but with Suga instead of Jimin. Taeyang was a guest on Suga's show "Suchwita" and they had a great conversation once our boy was done being starstruck. They talk about Jimin a lot, too, and it seems like Taeyang is honestly very fond of him. :) I love this version of the song, and the band does an amazing job. Jimin's voice is extraordinary as always, and I love the grace notes that he throws in every so often. I seriously cannot wait for his album now.

if you like this sound, you should definitely check out Taeyang's live concert. 2014, 2016., each of his concerts looks like this. And his BigBang group. They are focused on their live singing. Bigbang are the kings of live performances. Even in their concert tours, they have a live band with them called Band Six,who also played in the concerts like Beyonce, and many more bigger artists.
