He was literally rapping at the start, then softly transitioned into that angelic timbre of his, and the bridge?! he's the king, when I say he elevates every song he's in it's just unreal. His dancing was amazing, he really knows how to be both fluid and sharp at the same which is something even the best of dancers can't achieve. KING JIMIN!

I think all of the BTS boys are like that; when they collab with other artists, they are very careful not to steal the spotlight. J-Hope did much the same with Crush and Suga did similarly with PSY. Like, 'I'm here to help out, but this is your show: you shine.' Another aspect of their humility and respect for others.

Fantastic collaboration with great duo vibe & perfectly matched magical vocals! 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥 However dance wise, I feel like Jimin was holding himself back! Jimin who naturally has extremely considerate & respectful personality, always do show his full respect towards whoever BTS or Jimin himself collaborate with by toning down, adjusting to held himself back, not outshine the other artists & balancing overall performance to perfection! And this is TaeYang, the idol that Jimin has look up to. That respectful side of Jimin is also the reason why he doesn’t cover other artist’s songs or performances anymore because he knows some of his beloved Army & fans would go little too crazy & would comment something like ‘Our Jimin is way better then the original singer!’, just like when Jimin & JK did cover the ‘We don’t talk any more’ & others . They were awesome.... the lyrics, Jimin's voice, his many tones ... they definitely didn't disappoint me.

I thought it was perfect! Jimin had 50% screen/vocal time - we know there WAS a lot of concern for Jimin over that. Also, I think they wanted the focus to be more on their vocals (I noticed some different tone to Jimin’s voice here and there, which was so great!) This really is a monumental collaboration- 2 Kings of KPop together! We also have to keep in mind this IS Taeyang’s song; even so, he didn’t overshadow Jimin and vice versa! It’s a fantastic song that showcases both of them beautifully. Jimin is a masterpiece! What a fantastic prelude to his solo album!!!💜💜💜. Taeyang is gorgeous and has a beautiful voice - they have a lot in common, a very nice ‘vibe’ 😝

The lyrics says girl we got that vibe, so I'm thinking it's about a man and woman vibing together! Taeyang is around 33 and is married with a child and is a very good vocalist and dancer. Jimin's versatility as a vocalist shined so bright in this song; he sings every octave in the best of ways!

Jimin singing the lower register was everything. Since this is Taeyang's song I think Jimin didn't want to overshadow him but he was still very much noticed. I hope Jimin does an R&B project because it fits him so well.

Taeyang (age 34) was/is a member of the group Big Bang, 2nd generation in K-Pop and they had the top spot on lock down until they went into the military. Taeyang was called the "Chris Brown" and the "Neo" of the K-Pop world. So, yes they decided to go with the sexy "vibe" and not do a hard dance break. If you look at Jimin in his early days, when asked who was his favorite idol, he always said "Taeyang of Big Bang". There is also footage of Jimin dancing to one of Taeyang's songs. So for Jimin this is an opportunity for him to work with someone that he has looked up to for most of his life. Apparently, Taeyang wanted Jimin to treat him like a friend (dropping the honorific) when they finally met, however, Jimin just could not do it because of his level of respect for Taeyang as an artist and senior. (Check out Taeyang's solo songs: I need a girl; Wedding dress; Eyes, Nose, Lips; and Ringa Linga).

Naver , the owners of VLIVE announced back in September 2022, that they will be discontinuing Vlive as of December 31st 2022.

I loved Jimin's voice the moment he came in💜💜💜 This was Taeyang's comeback which featured Jimin, and I was afraid he would only get a small part. But thank you Taeyang for giving Jimin like half of the song/video. Legend!!! Their voices and dancing are perfect in this. The only thing would be if they had a longer version with them dancing in those black outfits at the end. Their dance styles seem similar to me, not surprising as Jimin looked up to Taeyang when he was younger. I also feel like this might be how some of Jimin's solo work might lean to. I was at the song release last night and like 40 minutes after that, the reactions started like BAM! I watched a reaction by Taeyang fans that were not BTS fans as I understood (they were 2 Korean guys) and they mentioned that one of Taeyang's "signature" characteristics was showing himself shirtless when he was still with Big Bang, and made some other comments on "moves" he is known for, somewhat like Jimin flipping his hair and body rolls. They really liked the chemistry and were sort of shocked how well they fit together, just like us ARMYs. And yes, Jimin is a huge fan of Big Bang! I'm so happy for Jimin, he's THE BOSS!
