Anna H It’s so weird seeing him when he’s promoting as a solo artist versus promoting with Shinee. Here, he’s so mature, very different from the Taemin we see when he’s with his members. With Shinee, he naturally, and probably unconsciously, shifts to a maknae who teases his hyungs and acts like the silly little brother we’ve all come to love.

@@Lena-zn4re I believe it's natural and unconscious for Taemin. My youngest sister does the same. When she's with friends, even older than her, she acts so mature. But when she's with me, she reverts to being the baby of the family. Even her voice and way of talking automatically shifts to a younger, cuter tone. And I think so does with Taemin. He grew up with his hyungs. SHINee members are more like brothers than mere friends or colleagues.

Stacy did a great interview here -- because she connects with Taemin as simply a fellow human being rather than a star. Moreover, she didn't present herself as a robotic celebrity interviewer but someone genuinely curious about his process and experiences. And I think that is why he revealed himself more than he might have otherwise. It is interesting, though, I have seen interviews of him where he comes across as more adult -- assertive and determined -- than he does here. Maybe he was feeling cozy under Stacy's benevolent gaze! He fascinates me -- he is so much more than the cute image many reduce him to. The intellectually inclined Jonghyun once said of all the members it was with Taemin with whom he had the deepest conversations. He seems, beyond his dazzling artistry, to be a truly lovely human being who carries his beauty and his burdens with grace. I wish him all the happiness in the world.

I’d like to think she gives him the same feel that the members of SHINee do in the sense that the way she speaks to him and treats him is very caring. At one point she even puts more food on his plate to make sure he eats. That feels very Key/Jonghyun to me.

This is me, exactly! Difference is I discovered Taemin last week and now I'm obsessed! I've been a MJ fan almost my whole life (more than 25 years) and I saw the MJ influence in Taemin straight away, and I love it! I even notice a resemblance in his behaviour off stage with his sweet and soft manners, just like MJ. And how they both turn into professional, experienced (at such a young age), perfectionist and unique superstars on stage :D MJ would have loved Taemin, I'm sure :') So happy I just got to experience a SHINee comeback even if I'm still discovering them and their music. Wishing them all even more success and thinking that Jonghyun is watching over them with so much pride. Perhaps he's even hanging out with MJ? :D

Taemin is so well mannered. He waited for Stacey to finish her question or her converses before he speaks. That is very hard to do. We usually jump right in the middle and not listen to the whole sentence. Taemin listens well and waits for his turn. Well educated!

It AMAZES me at what an excellent human being he is considering the industry he works in. It is really a matter of nature versus nurture battle. After 14 the influence of his parents are less and it is more his Shiness Hyungs who raised this boy to what we see today. Ofcourse a lot of credit to Taemin himself he is naturally a good person and a disciplined young man, he wouldn’t have gone down the wrong path. He really is a role model for how an young celebrity should behave, work hard to achieve excellence, don’t tie yourself up in scandals and lose focus, be honest but don’t be crass, have a sense of humour, just be yourself don’t project a false image to attract fans, most importantly don’t turn your confidence intro arrogance be humble always. The only criticism I would make is that he works TOO hard lolzzzzzz I just don’t want him to have regrets when he gets older. Whether you like his music or not no one can deny he is a remarkable young man, we could look all up to him and learn from his work ethic.

This is genuinely one of my all time favorite Taemin interviews now. From the questions to the parts where Stacy made sure the baby ate well, I was smiling and tearing up and go through the motions the entire time. Also, I love the fact that he mentioned the part about Outro being a calm before the storm, it supports my theory that the Outro is the map of this universe Taeminnie is creating with his music. GENIUS INTERVIEW AND GENIUS ARTIST. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS.

And OMG, can I just say that I always knew he surely thinks very big and sees a big picture when it comes to his art, but I was totally blown away when he expressed how HE wants to become a music genre rather than be someone who stands behind his music. This thought itself was simply brilliant and shows that he was born to achieve great things in his life! He is an incredibly inteligent man, I'm in awe of his way of thinking plus he's such a humble and adorable person! And did he just promise to go on a world tour???!!!! I'm screaming!!! True, he got to where he is now because he knows what he want and who he is. I love watching his interview because i get to know him more, i love how passionate he's about his works and i love his insight. He has many wisdom and to think that Taemin is a lot younger than us make me adore and respect him more

I miss him. This is my fav Taemin interview, Stacey treats him with so much respect and asks questions no one asked him in 14 years.

I loved how Stacy treats Taemin like a Mom. ANYWAY, I NEVER REGRETS STANNING AN AMAZING MAN LIKE LEE TAEMIN

“There is no one like you” is probably the most accurate accomplishment for Taemin as an artist.

I feel like the interviewer really does know Taemin quite well and has been following his career.. And Taemin seems really comfortable and relaxed here. 😊

Taemin is not only immensely talented and hardworking, he's also very special. His aura and personality really reel you in. I've stanned SHINee since 2010 and I've stanned so many groups since but Taemin has remained my ult for 10 years. He's so charismatic and magnetic, not only when he's trying to be cool, but even when he's at ease, just being himself. He makes you want to cheer him on, which is exactly what an idol needs to be like.

For a recent fan of a Taemin, I would like to express my gratitude to Stacy, who is very proffesional and let us know about Taemin's real struggles and acheivements like no other korean entertainment industry. You are true proffesional Stacy!

Taemin reminds me of MJ.I hope he is adjusting well,because I couldn't imagine MJ in the military.I hope his country appreciates how admirable what he,and all other young men are doing for South Korea.All young men,not just Idols.

TAEMIN deserves everything. Taemin deserves everything and he deserves all the love in the world.

I come back here from time to time to remind myself of my own passions and dreams. I liked Taemin because of his talents & quirkiness but his work ethics made me adore him more. it’s amazing how a young boy established himself in a very harsh industry, continued wowing audiences with his skills and now, proving to everyone why he is worthy of the ‘Ace’ title with his endless pursuit of becoming a better artist. think of it - he hadnt had a fitting voice for SHINee when they debuted, now he is going Solo with his own distinctive style of music and is even able to sing highnotes. that's 100 % passion and comittment. Taemin is truly "married to music" and dance.

This was one of the most in depth knowledgeable interview I've seen in a while. Way better than most us talk shows that know nothing about kpop. Yay for this. This was 👏 fantastic and I loved how well composed and in depth the conversation was. Plus I just adore Taemin in every way the more I watch him, I mean he covers his mouth when eating at a interview?! Wow, why can't more people mind thier manners like this sit up proper, take a shower and not shovel food eat chew with thier mouths open and talk with food in thier mouths and shovel it down like it was thier last darn meal? I wish people would do what he does.. He even strives to be better no matter how perfect we see him, with wanting to tighten up his dance moves which baffles me becuase I'm in awe of all of his intriguing small movements that he does in his dances that make them so vivid unique and taeminesque. Some people believe they are perfect and don't need any change, He is a true idol and Like someone to look up to. His dancing, singing, style, pose, gosh , so posh and yet so sweet. Wow. I can't wait to see his concert. Tpop, yass...That cute bunny dance to at the end! I just literally laughed out loud. What a good sport! Gosh. Love this. I'm full taemin mode.

It's always a sign of a great interviewer when the interviewee is so relaxed and truly volunteers information the way Taemin did throughout the interview. Since becoming a Shawol, my life has become an endless cycle of biasing/ being bias-wrecked by the Lee brothers. The power Taemin holds is incredible. What an amazing artist, and precious human being. One more solo comeback, then he has to enlist. I hope the military treats him well. Shawols will be counting down the days until he returns.

The fact that he thinks he lacks in any aspects of his dancing is astonishing to me.

I honestly cant even voice how much i look up to taemin. What he said about what sets him apart from other dancer and how he asks why a person moves the way they do....that kind of just opened my eyes to a world of possibilities. Also him finally growing into his image and just ugh wow. He is THE artist. He makes music we can see. Also watchung him eat and think is like watching a literal baby. Im so in love with him and his mind.

I just knew about him (as a solo artist) when MOVE came out and at that time I was really curious about him and started listening to his music, but recently I go to Taemin youtube binge watch again and definitely fall in love with him (off stage and on stage Taemin)! Usually when taemin goes on solo interviews he sounds a bit aloof but he was very comfortable here. I think shinee really is comfortable around Stacy. I wish she just does all the shinee interviews in the future

I really enjoyed this interview. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Taemin is always so real, authentic artist and a hardworking young man I really appreciate and respect him like all Shinee members. The interviewer seemed so cool and she really tried to make Taemin more comfortable! You can see that after some time they both relaxed and the interview became more like a conversation between two good friends!

Taemin is soo timid and shy. I'm so surprised cause normally I see idols either be hyper active and all over the place or hyping themselves up. Taemin speaks with thought and he really answers questions pretty in-depth and not just surface level

And i love that quality on him, he never seen himself as high nor the best and keep challenging himself. With all his achievement he can brag or become a bit arrogant but he always stay modest and generous. This man is beyond everything we need in an artist

I dont think Taemin is timid at all. He is just a bit shy and introvert by nature, to which a lot of artists can relate. However unlike his outer attitude, he is full of confidence in himself bcz he knows exactly who he is and what he wants on stage. I think he is a very solid man and artist who knows what he wants. So there is this confidence oozing out of his body when performing on stage. I think he is far from being timid tbh. There is a difference between being timid and being shy/introvert.
