Even though I'm an army and a jimin bias, the comments are lowkey beginning to annoy me. BB are legends but no one seems to appreciate them much nowadays. Also, the pianist deserved appreciating too for covering the song so well. Just because a bts member covered Smth you shouldn't just go to that video and mention them

So interesting story (for me at least): this is actually the video that introduced me to Kpop. I saw this back in 2010 when you released it and I thought to myself "who is Tae Yang and why have I never heard of this song before?". I proceeded to look it up, discover Big Bang and the whole Kpop scene, and it's been my favourite genre of music ever since. So I owe a big thank you to you Ray Mak. Maybe I would have stumbled on to the genre later on, but it's been such a integral part of my life that I can't imagine what it would have been like without it.

Some piano pieces sometimes make me cry. When my piano teacher played this song for the first time, I actually cried a bit. :' ) You are truly an amazing pianist! I have always loved this piece ever since!

Park Chimin As someone who used to face this difficultly when learning piano, I'd suggest learning both hands together from the start of the piece. If you learn one hand and then the other and try to play them together it will be much harder.

This is still one of my favorites from Taeyang and your arrangement is beautiful!

No idea who this "Jimin" is but I'm here for you, Mak and to see how YOU play the song. I don't know who the original artist is or who other cover artists are, just you. And I liked it on Instagram but I like this version even more. The passion, the way you strike each key, how you put such emotion into how you play... I don't know if I'll die before you, but if I do please come to America and play this song at my funeral. I'm not... joking. I'm dead serious. I'm 30, and have more health issues than a 30 year old should and I would be honored, and if the laws of the land allowed, I would come back to life just to watch you play this for me at my own funeral. This is beautiful, so is your gift. Thank you so much for sharing your passion, your career, and your talent with the communities you are a part of. May I reference this song in my book Milieu? As in, sketch you as a guest star appearance for the book, and sine it's a ebook, they would be linked to this page, to this video, to see who you are. this is a song sang by "taeyang" from a kpop (korean pop) group "bigbang" and is often covered by many others whether vocally or arranged on other instruments and the "jimin" people are mentioning is a member of the kpop group "bts" which also played a short cover of this song on the piano years ago and recently played it again on another show which are brining new kpop fans who dont know the legends or know this song to find out about it. Neither this pianist nor jimin are the original singers or player but either way your message was beautiful and hearwarming to see how you want soley this pianst
