Ultimately komi got the communication disorder from her dad, he really isnt good at talking to people, but he is one determined chad as we discover from a flashback of how he met his wife.

I love the fact that her brother probably misheard or just don’t care for the right pronunciation (shouko) and went out to call the mother (shuuko). Plus, Tadano went from nervous to confident instantly when he talked to the mother cuz they’ve met a couple times already. And the mother trying to tease Tadano but Tadano just talked casually with her about looking for Shouko instead of her and she took it as if she’s offended that her teasing failed😅😅

Goes to show that though she's now a total perky sweetie, Shuuko Nimi the scary ass delinquent that gave no fucks until she met Masayoshi isn't completely gone. Also, Masayoshi's grunting when Shouko pushes him out of the room, he's clearly confused like the good boi he himself is beneath the bundle of nerves. I love that her dad used every ounce of energy he had to have a protective dad moment to make sure he was afraid of him, while you can tell her mom is already picking grand baby names.

Komi-san High pitch grunt is just out of this world

The most interesting bit was when he was outside and panicked, he calmed down when he considered that Komi might be nervous too. There. RIGHT THERE. Is the chad moment. When he stopped and remembered to consider her feelings as well as his own, and took heart by placing her needs first.

For anybody curious about the music when Komi's dad walks in, look up Chopin Revolutionary Etude. Personally, I recommend the version from the game Catherine.

This was such an amazing episode I loved it! As of writing this I finished all episodes of Komi 2 minutes ago and I loved it so much! Every episode was such a joy and every character was so damn fun, I’ll forever cherish this series. Now I’m just really hoping there’ll be a season 3, it kinda me worries me as to why it hasn’t been announced, we gotta see more Komi!
