Quit a month ago. Really enjoy snooze in the morning and free time after work.

That’s crazy. I probably won’t quit, but I definitely will cease spending. We are all numbers, but never forget how important numbers are!

He basically comfirmed the only way a change will be made at that company is if people stop spending. Looking at the leaderboards, that ain’t happening considering the same people who have maxed Apocs are still pressing their feet down on the rest of us trying to get him also.

Top 1 spender leaving won't change anything from an company management point of view. Maybe if they lose half of their revenue then that's called wake-up call in corporate terms. As long as we have people who are ready to blindly spend. Nothing will change.

I would not be surprised if more top spenders leave as a result. A lot of them respected him and might see it as well if he's out then maybe I need to re-evaluate as well.

Just tbh I think I speak for everybody when I say hearing that anyone spent 50K on a mobile game is mind-blowing 🤯. I've been playing since day one & I may have spent 500 bucks total.

The only real way to get them to wake up is for every player to go F2P for a full month. Hit them in the wallet. I've been F2P since I started in year 2 except for a single $1 purchase when the web store first went up. I have a TCP of over 22m with my top team over 1m and 173 characters at max stars out of 230 collected. I've taken first place in multiple crucibles; I've regularly hit top 20% in milestone leaderboards with a few hitting even higher; I've topped out at 232 for the arena and typically maintain between 250-275; I've gotten war MVP several times; I'm halfway through DD5; MY point is that it is completely possible to remain F2P and still be competitive. It takes longer to achieve some things, but the sense of accomplishment is what brings actual fun to this game. I've earned everything I've achieved in game and typically spend only about 30 minutes a day playing.

I think it 'should' make a difference, but I doubt it will. There's not really any new management of the actual game changing, it's just the corp overlords, and they won't care that slowly the game is being stripped away in favour of 'store offers'. The Apoc event was fine as a concept, but it should have brought with it the economy/farm rebalancing to make the requirement of building 4+ teams actually feasible. I don't mind Apoc not being too OP either, but yea either the horseman+apoc should be top 5 teams, or Apoc standalone should be top 5. I guess we'll see with the next few events, are they all these utterly shitty, own this brand-new char a high GT to even do the event, or do they change back to being more player friendly.

LoL you think they stop offering stuff ? I had one in my alliance he spent 10k and there were still much offers , power cores f.e. can be purchased as much as you want. But this guy made a therapy as one should who spends money on games especially this amount. I hope Tadano will make a therapy and stop compensate shit through buying nonexistent stuff. Oh and Tadano ist still there he leads the milestone brothers in arms. A junkie is his whole life a junkie 😅

End of the day it needs to back to build what you want your choice no more year long events

Even as a newer player, i feel sad about Tadano leaving. As a player that has been playing games over 30 years, I understand the frustration of putting your time, money, and effort into this and still feel shorted. As far as yhe business end I understand them too. It is a free game, they have to make their money someway to keep it going. It's not like before when you paid $50-$60 for a game and you had the complete game. There does need to be a median.

I'm closing in on 40m and I have been thinking of quitting for a while now. I feel the exact same way he does

Yeah I've gone to a max of $20 per month.

It feels like Scopely is padding their “$$$bra$$$” for the new investors, but in a lazy, unfun fashion. I’m still working on my way towards BIG Apocalypse, but I could care less for anything coming down the pike in the near future (3-6 months from now). Good video Goofy. I whole heartily agree.

This game is 5 years old. I don’t expect any long term meaningful changes at this point. The game is what it is. Either you/me can handle that, or we should move on for our mental (and perhaps financial) health. Personally, I am just a light spender and don’t feel compelled to buy offers to “get ahead”. Also, even individual krakens aren’t going to make a big dent to this company. They make millions every year. I’ll bet there are at least 10 other krakens already salivating at the thought of being the next #1 on the leaderboards!

Sorry they don't give a crap and now that it's sold, it's Savvy's problem... Watch all the TOP dogs will leave the company (abandon ship), they got their $$$ and they will be out... As far as the future, who knows, maybe the designers can finally make the game the way they WANT it to be, but the Bottom line is, if they can't keep up their revenue, there will be MAJOR changes to the team and the game...

They pumped a lot of money into the companies they bought, Nintendo, Capcom,Tencent,Nexon, Embracer and many more. And you should check all investments the Saudi Arabia's PIF did. I'm honest I didn't even watch that video. I just thought, not him too. People aren't researching anymore and they have more and more double standards,caused by illiterate racists which sells it as 'woke' bs. And other people who want to show their deceptive 'good' intentions through actionism but without using their brain, why they later try so hard to defend their actions. I hate to be negative really i am because i have seen the community fight for good stuff to happen and it did. But with the fact that the game is already being sold to the arabs (its a done deal) for billions... if i was in their position (and i am a good guy), i would be like why would i care now? All i have to do is just autopilot it. Realistically i dont think anything will change sadly.
