Tactics Ogre Reborn: Could YOU Survive The Heim Conflict?

Ойындар

There's a lot of ways for this to play out, but a surprising amount of them result in needing to escape from big battles or being labelled a spy. What do You think would happen here? Also why the hell is it just the Heim conflict? More like the Valerian Boogaloo. The Factional Kill Blender. The Mass Home Randomizer. Heim barely plays a part. Just Saying.

Random additional scenarios: -Zenobians assume you're a Reincarnater, and turn hostile. -You get lost and become a wandering deserter. -I assume anything Galgistan related would just be immediate death. -Bakram may accept someone who can prove themselves to be knowledgeable enough about science they can understand. Maybe. Would the DKs Facilitate thay? Maybe? -I assume the Wallister would never get a win, since Denam was never there, no one would trust you, and Leonar likely died to Nybbeth. Between Vyce likely being a crappier mascot, or a relief team being delayed due to the confusion. -Warren Report could do this topic way more justice. I just had 20 minutes and a random thought. -

OK, now you’re going to need to make this a series… including both examining the other OB games *and* FFT. Or anything outside Walister lands. And of course, what if you’re isekai-ed anywhere *far* from Golyat… Because you sure don’t want to stick around Vasque when Brantyn sends his goons and everyone but Occione gets slaughtered. Or of course, anywhere in Galgastani territory while Balbatos is alive. As for Bakram territory, you’ll be more-or-less safe in Heim at least so long as you keep your head down. As long as Denam doesn’t eff up saving his not-blood-sister, because his mostly Walister/Galgastani army might just kill you or worse thinking you’re Bakram.

The problem with the Bakram answer is the class divide there. They are better off than the others, but tend to treat outsiders like dirt. A scholarly sort may find a niche due to what they need, but actually getting in there seems like it would be difficult with two fractions on war mode for someone that doesn't have something unique to offer them. Could be more accepting than the others on background grounds, though, true.

These are my favourite types of videos that you make: any which feature a Tactics Ogre setting where you're **encouraged** to roleplay. I know some folk who refuse to play R O L E P L A Y I N G G A M E S with roleplay in mind, which is a pity. This? I love this. Now, as to whether or not I'd survive is a different story. Chances are I'd be continuously keeping an eye at the news, trying to find the allegiance which most aligns with my cosmovision and try to make my way there, but: 1. Despite having kendo and karate backgrounds, it's been a while since I've actually had to fight anyone; 2. I'm not really that keen on the idea of going around murdering people (despite what my Denam's actions may tell); 3. I have the most artificial knowledge on any health-related fields, meaning injuries, curses and poison would be the death of me. I've lived with cats my whole life and had a bird at some point, so maybe I can try to befriend a wild gryphon if my chances are right; maybe I'd dabble in some necromancy if my opportunities to find a community are lacking (magic stuff; I don't have a baseline to assess how good I'd be at this, so it becomes a “why not?” consideration); who knows? Either way, I'd tackle it the way I do with my regular life: do what I can with what I have and hope my takeaways from failure are right.

A good roleplay can be good fun!

Nybeth is your best guarantor in this was-torn land. >Meet Nybeth and do your best to impress him with technology and big think >Get some training as a necromancer or at the very least his recommendation to the galgastan, securing a fairly good reputation >Either split off as an actually loyal galgastani before Nybeth sends you to die somewhere, or convince Nybeth to head to San Bronsa for True Resurrection. Possibly may require the idea that the divinities were skilled at necromancy too. >If you have a solid core of high tier undead and Tigers-equivalent troops, you're surviving the conflict one way or another. >Picking up Sherri, Cressida, or Hobryim is not off the table depending on how the plot goes, but keeping them is unlikely. Best to gear them up and tell them some prophecies before hoping they don't get themselves killed.

Wild Card play of the year. Seems the only in would be Hector's relatives, though, Nybbeth seems like he only takes apprentices as part of his Galgistani support, not as something he actually wants to do. He'd probably just whip out the tools and get to work, but if it did work, what a play!

It sounds like the plot of what Game of Thrones was initially about: lots of factions fighting each other over dominance, while an army of undead was growing. The result: the undead army winning since everyone was weak at that point.

What would you do if you were send to tactics ogre reborn potato? Considering your knowledge of the tactics reborn alonfside the other canon games? Wouldn't you be telling the Zenobians about a certain someone who should be dead but is alive in the body of a baby demigod? Rashidi is his name right?

The guy you're thinking of is Albeleo. Rashidi comes back as Tristan's kid in the Ogre 8 notes. Yes, he could have reincarnated as anything, he chose the king's nuts, apparently. No idea. Anyhow... Personally I'd probably see about the religious route, despite not being that religious after a Catholic upbringing. The political situation there is hostile at the best of times, and even when everything works out, they're right in the middle of a potentially bigger war soon. I figure the church generally tends to come out decently, despite corruption, and while the politics suck, unlike our real life version, it sounds very convenient to be able to pray away a cold or injury. Plus if C KoL rules apply, death just means free wings, so that's cool. Just need to be resurrected first for the emblem. This might be a fun discussion stream someday.. 🤔
