give him 6 months to a year. and syndrome might be nerfed. But honestly, I think they might make some sort of long distance projectile gun. Or maybe addon for Diana drone or Roach to throw taser, ice or fire. *All an assumption* , considering syndrome can’t get tasered up close also related to the new Gunball mechanics.

Same question i asked myself, whom to play? Moses is finally being retired in my rotation. Syndrome or Owen will eventually prevail. Both are really fun to play with right now

You have to have Owen in the line up cuz of fire and physics, but not adrenaline is fun to use when playing syndrome. My dude is stronger than any operator lol crazier too

would you suggest to Tacticool to just put three specific outfits up for the Clan Pass? They can't be selling many of them now that they're a random selection of basically every outfit, and they want you to pay $10 to NOT KNOW what you're gonna get? VIP rewards suck too. We all have our eyes out on specific outfits/gun styles, etc we didn't get in the past. Just put them in there (as specific items, not random) and then we can decide if we want to pay. They'll make way more money and we'll get what we want. Easy :)

Syndrome is actually kinda nerfed.. low level Syndrome (4 stars - 4 talents) sucks so much now, the regen is TOO slow, like I can survive 1 big attack with 3 enemies at once, but NOT even close when I 1v1 each of them, 3 times in a row, consecutively. Syndrome just doesn't heal AT ALL Syndrome nerfed, change my mind. I didn't need Syndrome rework tbh ;-; just needed some talent reworks to fit my playstyle :(

I personally didn’t play syndrome before so I don’t know how it changed. But honestly mine is at lvl 4.5 stars with 6 talents, and at this level it’s doing well for me

I agree. Especially that they nerfed his damage reduction ability and replaced it with more hp talents which is the same thing except for the 5th talent you have to sacrifice more ammo or speed for the hp to make up the difference. Health regen is an issue too, it'd have been better if he stayed the same with just reworked 6&10

@@BCK2BCK ​ I just hate this new Syndrome Most people think the new Syndrome is better, because they haven't tried the previous one. That's just biased opinion, they refused to acknowledge Syndrome's existence before the latest rework. IT was AMAZING, but NO ONE TRIED IT. THEY THINK IT STILL SUCKS AND SO THEY JUST DON'T TRY IT. @stephen-k did a great job, he basically summarized the whole problem. Though, I'm not too concerned about the *30% damage reduction* nerf to *25% damage reduction* ; I would consider it a simple balance change. 5% nerf is acceptable anyway, BUT ONLY IF IT WAS ON THE PREVIOUS SYNDROME, BECAUSE THE NEW ONE JUST MAKES IT EVEN WORSE. The new Syndrome regens constantly (no delay) at the cost of "less health generated per second", which might be better for *long AND continuous* 1v1's. You will regenerate health while taking damage, which might give you *a slight bonus chance* to win the fight, but that bonus chance is *barely noticeable* and you are left vulnerable to the next fight, BECAUSE YOU CANNOT REGENERATE FAST. PAIR THAT WITH THE DEFENSE NERF. THE NEW ONE JUST SUCKS, IT'S BASICALLY MEAT SHIELD NOW (we're not talking about 6th and 10th talents, this is a comparison between RAW Syndromes of the PREVIOUS version and CURRENT version). This leads to the New Syndrome's playstyle: you basically just respawn, fight and die, repeat that cycle infinitely. But that's definitely not fun, not even close to being efficient at high-rank PVP, and respawning takes too much time. (don't argue about injector, I know it can heal, but I'm talking about RAW Syndrome) The previous Syndrome has faster regen and relatively short delay (2-second delay) which was much more suitable for long term fights. 2 seconds is faster than MOST operators, it was ALREADY good enough. All we needed was some TALENT REWORK FOR SYNDROME, most likely the 6th and 10th talent(s), but I prefer the whole "talent system" rework itself, so we could actually customize his buffs to fit our playstyle, not something rigidly fixed like the current talent system. Problem is, Syndrome WAS already good. I surely DIDN'T NEED it to get the new perk: maximum 40% health lost per instance of damage. All I needed, and probably others - like @stephen-k, was for Syndrome to get more unique talents. That's all. This complete rework definitely ruined Syndrome in a lot of ways, and at least that's my opinion.

@@BCK2BCK I think a better way to rework Syndrome like the dev's direction, is to keep his health regen slow (6 sec delay, below-average health-regenerated-per-second) AND add lifesteal for every damage dealt (I call this *Blood thirst* ). Very simple concept, you heal %health for damage dealt, proportionally. This is balanced by weak health regeneration, which forces you to continue fighting to heal. AOE weapons CAN STACK healing. Another concept: Syndrome is not a vampire, but he's a tank and therefore can be a heavy hitter. If lifesteal doesn't fit, maybe make his damage and fire rate increase the longer he's continuously engaged in combat (I call this *Berserk* ). That means, if I shoot non-stop for 3 seconds, the fire rate and damage of my weapon WILL increase after each bit of a second (say, +0.5% every 0.2 seconds). This will give him a more unique combat advantage to comply with his defense. Notice how these mechanics are quite similar to Valera's, but I implemented them in such a way that fits the operator's character and persona, WHILE keeping them balanced. I'd still very much prefer the previous Syndrome, but if we're going to rework Syndrome, I heavily believe these concepts are 100% better.

​@@fire5281 yes this is exactly what I felt with syndrome's situation. He was already good and unique he only needed special talents like the rest of the operators. You described it better than I could, talents that diversify the gameplay for example as you suggested dealing more damage the longer you shoot. Abilities that fit syndrome's description (being a tank)
