Thanks good info. Also use a leather that will break easy if you fall off your horse and get caught up in your rope.

Wrap it front to back and run the end under the first strap then over the horn. That way the first strap holds it down and prevents it from coming off the horn.

Suggested Tack Tip - talk about the different kinds of ranch ropes, rawhide riatas, the different lengths and why. Another good tack tip would be the best way to "oil" or care for your roughout saddle. Thanks
