I love when the players just completely ignore the umpires and when the umpires give up trying to get their attention

Love these yellow cards, are like "dude, is just a game".

Extremely intense watching a guy in a chair raising a colored card with one of his hands. Now I need the rest of the day trying to calm down.

@@Samscherano Nein. Hatte gerade ein handshake mit dem Team Kameraden auf der Bank. Da ist das Holz neben meiner Augenbraue gesegelt. Die Zuschauer sind aufgesprungen und haben gebrüllt, die tatsächliche Gefahr habe ich später auf Video gesehen, da an diesem Tag die Kamera mitlief für die Analyse.

Wusste bis letzten Sommer nicht mal, dass es im TT Karten gibt. Hab aber zu dem Zeitpunkt schon über 10 Jahre TT gespielt und 6 Jahre auch TT Bundesliga verfolgt, nie gesehen

@@NikoDunkel Klar gibt es die, die gibt es schon ab der Oberliga. In jeder Liga, in der ein Schiedsrichter beim Spiel anwesend sein muss, gibt es gelbe und rote Karten.

Strangely enough the player at 1:13 gets yellow card for low tossed ball which wasn't low actually. That was maybe the most legal serve from all serves in the video but no warnings. For instance here at 4:35. First the ball should be clearly behind the table, not over. The toss should be vertically up, it's less than 45 degrees. And he hides the ball behind his body when the ball should be visible during the whole serve.

Nah, that was an illegal serve (as most of them were). He brings his hand quite high before releasing which gives the illusion of a 16cm toss, but it's not. It's also not near vertical. You could even argue the hand was cupped, but that would be super harsh IMO.

Player at 1:13 gets a "let" for the low toss and a yellow for time wasting. I don't know if that was a good serve, but I had the impression that he fumbled the toss. I think that the player at 4:35 was penalised for his serve. That's why he got mad, isn't it?

It would be nice to see the exact reason for that cards. When the player acts aggressively it’s clear but otherwise it gets confusing.

Lebrun showed his real feelings 😂😈🤘. The rest were too soft!!! But seriously...most of these yellow cards were exaggerated. They are ok when the players throw the racquet, hit the table strongly or shout any offensive word... Umpires should have "criterion" ... That kick to the table was just a little touch. In fact the player was conscious and controlled himself. He knew he couldn't do it and he did it softly. When players are shouting aloud every points with lots of gestures no umpire says a word... And it is even worse than most of these situations. I accept there must be rules and order, but this is a little EXAGGERATED. 🧘

Tomokazu Harimoto should receive a yellow card every time he makes a point and shouts out loud as if he was feeling an excruciating pain.

@@chrissantos1877 You can't really do this. Harimoto screams because he is releasing air, thus tension. On the other hand if someone on the sidelines is cheering loudly or aggressivley I think the umpire should intervene to make them stop. For example, in the past few months Robert Gardos' son has been cheering him on during all of his matches, and it can get annoying. A great example is in his match with Truls Moregardh, you can hear his son yell everytime Gardos wins a point.

Some of these should not be a yellow ESPECIALLY if the player holds themselves back (I’m looking at the Portuguese player nearly kicking the table but not even making contact with it cos he’s stopping himself!!!).

It isn't about being a strong kick or not, it's the action in and of itself... The fact that he can't control his urges to throw a fit is an unsportsmanship like conduct.

i play Tabletennis since my childhood and this time yellow cards are fucking bullshit. Sure, timewasting is not cool for my Opponent but.... i get a yellow card because i scratch my leg or need to sneeze ?!. Bullshit is the most matching word for this situations....^^

Die gelbe für den Franzosen war richtig erbettelt. Die danach für den Polen war ne Frechheit. Erstens war der ballwurf hoch genug (16 cm ist nunmal nicht sehr hoch) und gelb für timeviolation ist ja lächerlich. Dem Schiri hätte ich den Handschlag verweigert.

Its weird to me that you are not allowed to throw your own racket when you are not even throwing it at someone else. I mean, some of these are just limping the racket onto the table instead of placing it on the table ... it is hardly significant for anything.

Yes...I agree. I can understand when they threw the paddle strongly or hit them against the soil furiously... But taking a couple of seconds to serve o throwing the ball. 🙄🙄 In fact it is much more annoying to hear harimoto screaming or yelling every single point. 😵‍💫
