Good job. Followed along and it helped
best instructor i have found so far....good work
The best explanations ever! Like I was wondering where does the #1 comes from. Also you me realise we're talking about service size & not for the actual oven-range lol i really reallylike how you or brake down from book phrasing - wording to real life language in the actual field, i can install entering but to understand this code book 😴. Please continue like this so peeps like me can understand. I am electrician for some years, but when it comes to read books it's a mess lol thank you, thank you. Have a blessed day. Marcelo from NY
Appreciate you and the way you teach is amazing! Thank you for your help and keep up the great work! I’ve learned better from you than books with this stuff in them.
Ok Column A and B are used as multipliers to get a new Kw sum, but column C is the number to be used in the calculation (8,11,14,17) etc. Thanks for the great content!
Hey sir thank you for coming back we truly missed you sir. We proud of you sir
Thanks for explaining column C it helps a lot.
Thank you Craig! This helped refresh my memory on this table. Also, don't forget about note 4 which means you can use this table to size your branch circuit load, your range.
This is great! Thank you for all the videos , they are all very well explained!
You have such a great explanation and wish you had more videos up thank you for your knowledge
Appreciate the explanation and reviewing how to use the chart preparing myself for my limited license!
You are the best brother you break it down to the simplest form.
Appreciate it your time to explain these kinda if things !!!
10:40 had me for a second. I was asking myself, where the hell did the 1 come from 🤷🏻♂️. Maybe it’s just me, I feel like doing the 1200w plus 8kw, first and getting that down, would have helped me understand the 1 a lot faster. I appreciate the video, I was stumped in a practice book I have and you helped me get through it. God bless!
Best explanation ever, simple and clear. Thank you
I’m currently studying for my journeymen exam… Mann you been really helpful in my journey. God bless you, I love how you guide us through the process. You make it easy. 🙌🏼👍🏼

Why does the neutral from the circuit have to be directly bonded to the breaker but the neutral pigtail gets connected to the neutral bus bar? This is the only thing that I don't understand.

Very Good break down . I have one question for last part of column C . So to make sure I understand your over under on 12kw . The question is even if your 15kW and you calaculate your 15% your still starting the calculation at 8kw and not 15kw ? Always calculate with 8kw , in column C ?
@craigmichaud-electricalins4602
7 ай бұрын
Yes you are correct!! You use the 8000 and multiply the 15%. I also just take the 8000 and multiple it by 1.15 and get my answer without having to remember to add it to the 8000. Glad this helped you! CM
Im studying for state ca commercial inspector exam . This was super helpful . What about 1 range at 40 kw? Notes only mention up to 27k . This is a practice question I ran into but scratching a quart of ice cream over it

So if all three ranges are 12 kw exactly do you add them up then minus the 14000 how do you go about that it I’m lost
@craigmichaud-electricalins4602
2 жыл бұрын
Just to clarify if they are all 12kw then you just use the number of ranges in column C. That would be 14000va as the demand for all three!! I know it seems confusing but as long as you remember the rules in each column then you will be good!! Hope this helps. Great comment!! CM
What do you mean by sizing service you mean the home run for the stove-range or the main service entrance to the house- dwelling. Can you explain or say it again? Thank you

This is old I know but its 16Kw-12Kw = 3 Left over x 0.05 = 1.15 x8000= 9200VA or 16kW - 12kW = 3 (left over) 3*.05 = .15 .15 x 8000 = 1200VA 1200VA + 8000VA = 9200VA
