Bought myself a pack of these last year in Manila. Agree with you guys. Decent, pleasant no nonsense stick for the money. Also have a few of the Don Juan Urquijo and they were very good and surprisingly cuban-esque in profile. Packaging and finish is a little rough though. Looking forward to your Philippine videos. I’ve went to the LCDH lounge in Makati which was brilliant albeit a little expensive. I stayed in the nearby Peninsula hotel just a short walk to the lounge. Might want to stay there, they have a small cigar shop down by the lobby.
I am going to the Philippines and Japan end of October.
I wondered if it was a short filler when you had cutting issues. In my experience short fillers dont like the V cut.
Any recommendations for Cuban cigars in or around Malaga in Spain?
I bought several vitola’s from Alhambra last year. They are the Perique. Got them from this shop with a lounge in Makati City. Not for me.
