Hi François, great question. I'm using a fine pointed No. 2. The bristles are long enough to hold plenty of the panel liner, so I don't have to reload the brush as often, and the point is sharp which helps me be more accurate with applying it, which means less clean-up. It's maybe too late now, but, why didn't you textured the driver's hatch parts as you did with the hull MG's casemate (with great result)? They were casted part too.

Hi Zorg, even though the drivers hatch and visors are cast, it doesn't appear to have a really rough texture, at least in the photos that I've seen. But you can easily add the texture if you like. Obviously, after painting, it's too late to revisit a small detail like that, unless you would want to repaint the hull. At this scale I would say that texturing is subjective on small items. Hi Johnny, I always like the initial coats and the pre-shading. Something about that stage of the painting looks really good. The further detailing only enhances it. Thanks for the inspiration to pursue my own visions.

I too love the point in the build when I get to lay down that first coat of color over the pre-shading, its quite satisfying to watch it slowly develop, like magic. Take care and model on my friend.
