T-Wolves cook and eliminate the Nuggets in 7, why the Knicks cannot run it back | NBA | THE HERD

Спорт

The Minnesota Timberwolves cooked the Denver Nuggets 98-90 in Game 7 to dethrone the reigning champs. Anthony Edwards struggled offensively but led the way defensively with Jaden McDaniels. The Wolves will face the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. Colin Cowherd reacts to the T-Wolves' big win, then explains how the Nuggets got embarrassed. In the East, the Indiana Pacers knocked off the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden with a 130-109 Game 7 win. Tyrese Haliburton finished with 26 points (six 3's), while Jalen Brunson exited the game early due to a fractured hand. Donte DiVincenzo finished with 39 points. This raises whether New York should run it back with the Villanova Knicks and company. Watch as Colin explains why the Knicks have to make a move to make them title contenders.

Colin doesn’t get paid to have a clue. He gets paid to push certain narratives and propagandas. The wolves are not full of euros and they’re dogs that play real defense. He’s been pushing this new nba narrative that defense doesn’t matter anymore and that the league has pivoted to that it’s only about spacing the three ball and the disrespect black American players has been getting over the euro international players. He’s been exposed as a weird fraud that has no credibility whatsoever. He doesn’t watch sports or know American sports.

First time in NBA history that such a thing has ever happened (by a wide margin - in fact).

As a nuggets fan, Murray and Mike Malone are both key in the nuggets winning a championship last year. However, Murray damn near shot the nuggets out of the game in the 3rd quarter. Taking bad contested shots. Not getting Jokic easy looks -pick and pops, screen and rolls- which is a point guard/floor general's job. He found fool's gold in the 1st half playing hero ball. Malone needed to pull him in the 3rd and calm the offense down with Reggie Jackson. Threw the whole offense's rythm; Jokic had to start forcing it because Murray wouldn't find him in good spots. Totally disappointed in that God awful crumbling

Please stop the MJ stuff. Secondly, the wolves were built to beat Denver however Dallas is a different animal all together. Colin consistently picks against Dallas, just all the other “analysts” outside of Legs and Paul Pierce. Consequently, those two are simply more prepared and knowledgeable than most of the others and as a result, more accurate.

Denver as a team were HORRIBLE shooters as a whole the entire playoffs. I had a bad feeling about them when they lost a must win game against the Spurs at the end of the season. if you put pressure on Jokic there is NO ONE to score. There were flashes of good play from the other players but they were terrible on the whole. it was one of the worst shooting performances I have ever seen over the course of the 12 playoff games considering the hype of the team going in. Murray as the #2 player isn't good enough, he is constantly hurt and really inconsistent. MPJ and KCP were absolutely terrible. Aaron Gordon is a good role player that had one good game but that isn't nearly enough. 3p% was abysmal the entire playoffs and they chose to start bricking 3s the entire second half of game 7. Really bad play by Denver. This really hurts Jokic's legacy IMO. I get the sense this is the beginning of the end for him. New stars in the NBA are taking over his spot.
