Hi! I’m glad I found this video but a little confused about the off the shoulder style. Are you cutting 6” from shoulder seam to the center of shirt because you halved the neck to shoulder measurement?

That's wonderful! I used to own a store in Ballard called Monster art & Clothing where Henry did several art shows when he was first starting out. He is so talented and an amazing human as well. I smile everytime I see his work around Seattle. So cool to meet another fan of his 😍

You can get it a a craft store, but I got mine by searching for tailor's chalk on amazon.

Fantastic clear instructions, thank you! You sound v natural when giving the actual instructions, but quite robotic on the bits in between, which makes me think maybe you feel quite anxious in front of the camera? If so and it's something you want to change, try looking up some acting warm-up exercises - speaking to camera or presenting generally is a *very* strange thing to do, so a lot of those exercises are about breaking down the natural inhibitions we have so we're not fighting them when the camera switches on. Honestly great tutorial though, exactly what I was looking for - going to go and watch your other vids now :)

What if the shirt is already v neck? I wanna cut it off and make it straight off the shoulder

Can you use the same technique with a sweatshirt?

Be sure to stretch along the line you cut so that the fabric rolls. This prevents fraying, but, t-shirt cotton really doesn't fray anyway.

i cut too much and now the shirt doesnt stay on my shoulders 😔😭

Thank you for this I’m transgender 🏳️‍⚧️ and I just came out I’m going to do this to some of my old shirts 👕 so I have some that I have some that way I have some that are feminine I’m non binary too be exact so I ideally would dress in a androgynous way( androgynous means masculine and feminine at the same time not all non binary ppl want to be androgynous tho )
