Please make a version that's more inline with the info we have. They do say that it was *partially* covered in feathers. It tends to change over time, but mostly they base on animals/*birds* that occupy similar niches today.

A new discovery of a close T-Rex relative fossil reveals scaly skin impressions all over its body so the classic scaly T-Rex may have been right all along - irregardless of smaller relatives that were covered in feathers. But to make the feathered version you could use the same templates but save a lot of time by not using the soldering gun to make all of the scale detail. Since the early protofeathers were hairlike you could just cover your Rex with fake fur to make the most 'bridlike' one. Even if this is wrong for T-Rex now with the latest discoveries; there is still good evidence that some T Rex relatives were quite "fluffy".

Anyone Can Sculpt I dont know if that would work since i think the style of the rex you made is very close to JP and not to reality If you added feathers they would look out of place at least thats my opinion I would prefer if you made another rex but this one would be more realistic, that way you can have 2 T-rexes 1 thats inspired by JP And 1 thats based on the real life animal

A feathered Tyrannosaurid is horrifying. It's like a huge, toothed, deformed, partially feathered, turkey with a huge head and long tail, trying to turn you into its next meal. Sorry for my grammar, please forgive me. (Edit: They can't roar too. They probably made creepy breathing noises that can scare the crap out of a grown man.)

Thankfully there is now evidence of fossilized scale impressions over many places of the body of a close T-Rex relative; so I'm afraid that the highly publicized reign of "Turkeysaurus Rex was thankfully a short one and soon to be relegated to the dustbin of (pre)history. Long live scaly T-Rex!

Geez! How many weeks did it take to make this? How many failed or botched attempts? How many headaches? The results are phenomenal, yes! But, how did you maintain a constant level of patience, given all the detailed carving and texture work involved? And a final question.... Ever hear of Sculpey clay?

  • @AnyoneCanSculpt

I created this method of sculpting done the R&D spend years numerous fails, botched headaches and many more so that Anyone Can Sculpt. In other words I do all the work just sit back and enjoy... Yes! I've heard of Sculpey and Monster Clay but with this method you can easily custom to any size make into a costume, sculpt multiples, Light weight and affordable. I love to sculpt with clay but I don't think any clay can achieve this results.

Definitely yes if you don't have a spray gun. You have to dilute the contact cement if it's too thick and make sure the contact is completely dry before stick as painting contact cement with a brush cause uneven spread.
