Tarapith is a small temple town near Tarapur in Birbhum district of the Indian state of West Bengal, known for its Tantric temple and its adjoining cremation grounds where Tantric rites are performed. The Tantric Hindu temple is dedicated to goddess Tara, a fearsome Tantric aspect of the Hindu Divine Mother the chief temples of the Goddess-oriented Shakta sect of Hinduism.
We went to Tarapith a short tourist destination from Kolkata. We travelled along with Rana da and Sathi di. Tarapith Mandir is a place for Jay Ma Tara. One of the best holy destinations from Kolkata and in the district of Birbhum. We also saw the arati at the Tarapith Mandir and had Tarapith bhog prasad. In this vlog we also show you the distribution of Tarapith Mahabhog.
We also visited Tarapith Mahashashan.
This travel vlog gives you an idea about travelling to Tarapith. We also had lunch at Shantiniketan.
