Lmao yessss. I always “teleport” sims with tool. Unfortunately the apartment overrides will only replace the wallpaper/floors BUT you actually just gave me the idea to make a custom save file just for the apartments to try to give you furniture🤭 I’ll have to mess around and see what works best

it is really tutorial for dummies and i love it! Grat you focused only on basics, that's what i needed! Can you or anyone tell me do you guys have this problem with scaling functional objects? For example fridges are just a little too small and i would like to scale it up just a bit but then i can't use this fridge. Can't move dish there, can't click on it to choose "take leftovers" etc. Is it just me or it is common problem with functional objects?

Scaling objects that are functional can cause issues! I've found it's best to leave appliances, doors, and computers as is. Scaling decor, seating, and clutter should be fine!

Yes! In build mode, you can shift click lights and you get the option to use a color wheel to change the light color. In live mode, you can just click the light regularly and change the light color with the color wheel.

TOOL mod is so helpful and I loved the way u explained it girliee! only one annoying thing i cant figure out if theres a way to change the apartments lobby walls & floors using the tool mod or is it not possible? cuz they be looking quite ugly >:(

Hi!! Unfortunately I’m not sure of a fix for the freezing. It sounds like the game is dragging your operation system through the trenches😭 There might be a mod that causing the CAS issues. Make sure all of your UI mods are updated!

Watching this because I seriously need a guide my autistic brain can understand of step by step thank you Edit: HAH! I get the Geometry bit, Math was my worst subject in school (my school failed me with 3rd grade math so now a lot of my Math is so screwed up) so yeah I usually have that issue with the Y and X axis

Was wondering if anyone new...Using the tool mod to scale down for example a table, do items still float on it? Like when you use the in game option. Some of the items are ridiculously large but if you scale them down you cant place items on them as that part wasnt scaled down with it. Just wondering if the tool mod would rectify this issue.

Yes, I believe it would float. You would have to move the objects on the table manually or elevate them with the tool mod.

Hey Tay! You did so well with this video! However, I did have a question. So everytime I place cars and other objects they end up deleting. Even when I delete certain objects they end up resetting itsself by being placed again. Do you know what this issue is?

I've noticed this happening recently after the For Rent update. Does this happen to all of your lots? I've only seen it happen to the area that is around rental multi units. I'm not sure of a fix of it yet😭

everytime i try to move my objects they just disappear 😅 like they vanish as soon as i try to move it, while i’m still in build/buy mode. i have to undo the action to get it to come back (in its original position). i’m not sure where they are going or if there’s a way to fix it. both my better build buy and tool mod are updated to the newest versions so i’m not really sure what to do about it lol

Are you trying to move an object that is slotted on a table, desk, shelf, etc. when you try to move objects that are directly on top of something, it glitches out. Try using an omsp post instead!
