我觉得喜爱要更重要， 亚洲人的忍耐能力是总所周知的强，但是很多时候我们都尝试逼迫自己学习。 然而人最大的潜能是需要喜爱+热情+合适的方法= 效果。 就像喜欢吃零食雪糕，自然就会胖，如果喜爱知识，上瘾一般学习，那最终的结果，就只是时间问题。 毕竟瘦的人可能要吃的多一些。

不完全认同你的看法。方法是可以不同，但方法有确实有错误和好坏之分，错误的糟糕的方法只会打击人的兴趣导致无法坚持，别忽略了正确的好的方法是引导一个人坚持的核心要素之一

"Find what your are interested in", I think it's a very important point that can keep you progress consistently to reach that level. When I saw these guys in video, the same emotion is passion from their words, their faces.

@@ChinaGuide999 日语中有日文汉字（漢字／かんじ Kanji），日本古代几乎完全借用汉字书写文言文。 他们的语言虽然与汉语分属不同语系，但是书写系统是借鉴汉语的。日语的平假名是中国书法草书演变而来，片假名是楷书演变而来（与‘假名’对应的有‘真名’，真名就是汉字）。韩语古代也是以汉字为表记，为了方便书写，才创设‘谚文’，并且也是深受汉语影响。日韩两种语言书写时都有和汉字混用的情况。韩语从70年代才改为纯用谚文书写。两种语言中直接借用汉语字形和发音的词汇都是数不胜数。汉字的影响对日韩实在深远。

我从小就爱听歌，还爱唱歌，我记得我从小学剑桥英语我就唱歌，然后我也不知道唱的是什么意思，我就是会唱😂，然后初中高中我就天天听歌，听歌回家路上 洗头都唱歌，唱着唱着我自言自语，而且我和视频里面的人一样我从来不用背课本单词，我早在唱歌里面会了😂，但是由于我都是唱歌学的英语，可能我的表达不是非常就是高级的那种，我的留学生朋友说我讲话有些和歌词一样只言片语😂，现在我想要更加高级表达，还是多看书，但是我的确真的很喜欢唱歌，现在学西语，我学了几周的时候我就会唱西语歌了，（虽然我还是不懂的什么意思😂），然后现在和西语学了几个月，说实话正经学只有一个月，我就天天听歌，因为我太爱西语歌了😂现在都会唱至少几首了，我发现我也不需要特别背单词啊，就是听多了就会了😂，我只能说唱歌可能能让我快速语言入门并且达到一个还可以的口语水平吧

我最近看了很多不出国学的很好的人总结的要点，无一例外第一条全是大量接触自然语言，当然前提是先正确的学会发音和一些简单单词。第二条是内容要能理解50左右，知道这个视频能理解到70/80左右就可以看下一个，重点还是要大量的输入

This is the very video I was looking for! Actually i have done a lot of research on how to enhance a language in a correct way. I have formed some of my own thinking, and this video makes me believe I am right with a lot of supporting evidence, which makes it all clear to me.

我觉得输出也一样重要。举个例子，我看过《诡秘之主》作者的采访，他作为网文作家，读过很多书，书架上也摆满了一堆书。但是我注意到一个现象，就是他在接受采访的时候，并不会像这个视频中那些人一样侃侃而谈，反而说得有点磕巴。整个人的表现就是不善言辞。母语者都尚且如此别说使用第二语言了。所以我觉得英语要好你还需要具备另一个特质，那就是你要有表达欲，并且要多加练习。

是，所以一般那種外務工作的人外語會學得特別好，如果讓你去歐美日本當個工人，你就算待大半輩子說話也是坑坑巴巴。語言是一種工具跟技術，終究需要熟練。

我觉得，其实对于任何一个国家的普通的native speaker来说，绝大部分日常对话，本来就可能会说的不清楚，有点磕巴或错误，这是一个很正常的现象。 作为母语者，除非是类似主持人等语言能力非常强的人，日常对话就表现出侃侃而谈、非常流畅，其实是不自然的、也是不真实的。 我从另外一个频道里看到一位播主说过：“相当多的KZreadr在他们的节目里说英语的那种流畅状态或许会给英语学习者一种误导，其实老美日常不是那样说话的。” 以上是我的一点个人看法哈，欢迎交流。🍇

还有个例子就是金庸，能写出精彩的小说，但是说话磕磕巴巴。 但是，我觉得这不能证明输出的重要性。他们用的是母语，他们缺少练习母语的机会吗？当然不是。他们只是天生不擅长说话罢了。

这句话依然适用：以大部分人的努力程度之低，完全不到拼天赋的程度。 如果觉得英语学不好，输入可能比别人少了一个数量级。

@@myles_wang 我不这样认为。人的语言天赋确实有差异，有的人掌握新语言很顺利，练习一遍等价于其他人练很多遍。这样的差异就可能产生“持续被激励”和“放弃”的区别，是有明显区分作用的。

不是可能，是一定。母语者之所以成为母语者，不是天生的，也是经过大量输入才成为母语者的，只是很多人没有意识到罢了。你吃奶时在听、拉粑粑时在听，洗白白时还在听，在你小时候学会一句较完整表达的之前，都在做着大量的听力练习，也就是大量的输入。所以最接近母语的学习外语方式，就是多听，没有其他捷径，其他妄图走捷径的极有可能就成为哑巴英语！

學不同的語言就像是學著用不同的方式看待世界。我認為語言學不好跟學生對於這世界有沒有熱忱的活力與開闊的心胸也很重要。很棒的影片😊🎉❤

I had similar experiences in terms of getting a lot of input information. For example, finding a stable conversation partner, it was quite interesting since my English partners and friends all came from online video games.

Environment is key! Practice and consistency

I am sure westners are just as amazed at how good u can speak Chinese. Not all westerner can speak good English.

I think the one thing they have in common is that they already lived in a native English-speaking country as a child or they had 1 to 1 tutoring before. If you haven’t lived in North America or Europe until after high school, unfortunately you're probably not going to be a native speaker for the rest of your life.

Only environment counts! Efforts and methods take the second and third place!

There's also talent, some people are naturally better at languages (easier and faster to pick up than average). That doesn't mean we shouldn't try these teniques. Also, some people just can't get rid of their original accent doesn't matter how hard they try, please don't feel guilty about it, it's totally normal.

comprehensible input is the core concept to learn any language When we were a infant, we all experienced a silent period, where we would not speak one word no matter how hard our parent tried, several months later, we started to pick up the language and imitate what the parent said. People thought when we spoke is the beginning of language acquisition, it is not. It is actually the result of language acquisition by a lot of comprehensible input from out parent. So according to this concept, we have to find the material that fit our language level and also the content that you enjoy to consume. With the correct approach, you will improve dramatically

Just use it everyday on every occasion … like any native speakers do…then you will become much more fluent.

I just found that Europeans usually seem to speak more fluently in English despite the fact that they might misuse certain words and grammar. I've watched tons of anime back then but my Japanese improved only after I studied certain basic grammar like what is hiragana, katakana and how a Japanese sentence constructed. If you know nearly nothing about that language, you can never improve... so I really, cannot believe someone successfully learn a language before they learnt any fundamental knowledge of that language😑😑

Hi Keven. I can understand English KZreadrs quite well but cannt understand TV shows such as Morden Family. So what should I do to speank English fluently. go on watching KZreadrs that I 100% understand or watching TV shows than I can understand only 50%. Any advise will be apprecated! Thank you a lot!

中学5年俄语，毕业四年后基本忘掉。大学从ABC开始，哑巴英语。32岁强化一年德语，然后在德国呆一年，发音还行。英语又基本忘掉。45岁开始学听说读写，至今已经20多年，始终过不了口语关（发音还凑合，与同龄人相比），错过了最佳年龄段。相反，女儿在国内学哑巴英语7年，大二出来后仅三年，接听电话时别人以为她是native speaker。此外，作为南方人，她没有在北方生活过，普通话不够地道，而我21岁在北京呆了五个月之后，北京人不知道我是南方人。所以，年龄，性别差异对学语言的发音相当重要。

一直在持续自学英语和意大利语的道路上苦苦挣扎。。

这几个中文博主的口语这么复杂而且全是大词 明显是提前写好的水平太虚 多输入对于口语帮助微乎其微 看看张朝阳就知道了

年过30，学英语不知道为了什么。之前学了日语和英语，突然发现都没啥用处。还是学点技术赚钱是第一位了。语言只是个工具，只适合青少年或者时间较为充裕，不需要为生活考虑的群体。

我学英语的时候，确实源于兴趣，因为我爱打游戏，我就去玩美服的各种RPG，从一开始连自己的属性面板都看不懂，到后来可以跟全世界所有玩家讨论怎么样去培养自己的角色，的时候，已经发现，我特么已经能轻松跟老外聊天了。🤪

视频还说他在学校学英语的教材，一年就两本， 加起来就不到一万，快一万的词汇量。 但是大学毕业的英语母语者的词汇量就23000左右， 你一年学一万词汇量还少吗？ 这到底什么意思? 自已有了这个词汇量了不会找课外书看吗？ 也许你当时还小没有想到， 但是你在抱怨一年一万词汇量还少的时候，说明你根本不懂英语母语者有多少词汇量。

This theory failed on me. I consumed very very huge amount English input, through almost 30years consistent English input everyday. But I still can not speak. I still need to think and then talk, and only can use very basic English words. I now think output practices is as important as input.
