TI owns many properties all over Bankhead. I’m so happy that he is slowly building in the community. Looking forward to a grocery store making their way there. It’s all a matter of time before the community is revitalize for the better.

Atlanta area, in general, though even I find it difficult to believe. And there won't be a job paying more than 18/hr within 5 miles of that place as businesses close and run for the hills due to crime suddenly quadrupling in the area.

Yea, it was a joke along with some truth to it. There is a wealth gap between extremely wealthy ppl and really broke ppl in the Atlanta area. They average that to get a high median. That's why the average is that high per hour but you won't find anyone getting $34/hr in reality. The ppl who can average that out or more are salaried managers level and to actually afford to live there you have to be VP or SVP level. I made out pretty good post college but even then commuted bc of price, and with parking and paying student loans, I barely made food and rent. That's why you will see million dollar homes and a few block over is public housing.

Because I hate to say it but low income ppl don’t appreciate what’s given to them. They allow their kids to ruin the properties, the parents don’t take care the inside of the apartments, they trash the dumpsters with furniture and trash bags. It’s like they don’t appreciate anything given to them and don’t know how to act. It’s embarrassing and they’re only making it harder on themselves. It’s why so many ppl don’t accept section 8 anymore because they already know the huge risk they’re taking with their place being ruined

If there is section 8 or if it will ran by the city of Atlanta, they usually require periodic inspections. Those who keep failing the inspection have to leave the building. It will remain a nice place to live if the right people are in place to manage it and the people who live there are held accountable.
