T gauge is insane. My eyes could never cope with modelling in that scale but I tip my hat to you for an excellent layout.

That corner tunnel you made is brilliant, and so well suited to T gauge because the 'lid" is so small, also I like that it's a 180 degrees u turn sending the train quickly back in to view where it's supposed to be. Great layout!

Nice! Amazing and ingenious custom work and detailing. May I suggest for your next build that you can use hiddenly reinforced barns, water towers, or transmission towers as finger hold points to lift tunnel cover sections straight up.

always wanted to build a model train layout ever since I was a kid playing with my dads train sets he got as a teen. But I never had the space for it. T gauge intrigues me since its possible to make a small layout that would even fit onto a small shelf

@daveb.trains7019

Thanks! The grass mats are from TGauge.com and sold as t gauge 1:450. They could probably be used for Z and Maybe N scale also. One of the grassy areas is a sheet of felt which can be obtained from any craft store.

Seen many T gauge sets and trains are running fast, is there any way to run them slower and still run clean and not clunky
@daveb.trains7019
8 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes, they can run slower and in future videos I will make a conscious effort to slow them down. I noticed when I run the trains they never seem that fast in person, but do appear too fast on video (even a high speed ICE train).

DaveB, T gauge is this comparable to Marklin mini?
@daveb.trains7019

Hi Ricky, T Gauge is 1:450 and Marklin mini is Z scale or 1:220, so T is about half the size of Z. After working with T Gauge for a while, Marklin mini or any other Z scale equipment seems enormous! Thanks for watching!
