These types of deep fryer units began appearing several years ago which bodes well for a substantial inventory of these small kitchen appliances being available on the used market.

Thanks for this video, it was because of you I did the same thing I did a search I found one that was an open box never used and offered $40 and they took it. It is supposed to be arrive in a couple days. Again thanks
Good to know. Just unboxed the same unit from Amazon and your experience with the unit helps out a lot.
I just store my normal fryer (full of peanut oil) in the fridge when it cools down. To use it again just get it out and plug it in. I use it like that about a year before changing out the oil. I want to try that with lard next time. Just to be clear, I fry a lot of unbreaded chicken and only fry breaded items toward the end of the oil life.

Same here. I do a batch of fried chicken just before the oil is done.
