[Tōbu] Scenes from the Skytree/Isesaki, Nikkō, Tōjō, & Noda Lines (March-April 2024) [4k]

The Tōbu Railway network is the second largest non-JR private network in Japan after Kintetsu, comprising three separate railway networks and working together with others to send trains as far as Fukushima prefecture. Spreading out to the north of Tokyo, it serves not just the eastern part of the former Musashi province but also the western part through its early acquisition of the Tōjō Railway.
The core of the network is the Tōbu Isesaki Line, with the portion between Asakusa and Tōbu-Dōbutsu-Kōen nicknamed the Tōbu Skytree Line. At Tōbu-Dōbutsu-Kōen, the Nikkō Line branches off, which has branches to Utsunomiya and through service along the Yagan Railway and Aizu Railway to Aizu-Tajima. The sections to Kuki and Minami-Kurihashi see through service along the Tokyo Metro Hibiya and Hanzōmon Lines.
To the west, the Tōjō Line heads to Kawagoe and then beyond to Ogose and Yorii, with through service to the Tokyo Metro Yūrakuchō and Fukutoshin Lines on the southeastern end.
Finally, the circumferential Tōbu Noda Line, nicknamed the Tōbu Urban Park Line, connects Ōmiya and Funabashi via Kashiwa.
This video primarily features clips from the main Tōbu Network, with limited footage of the other lines. For the full clip at the grade crossing on the Noda Line, see the Tōhoku Line video at • [JR East Tōhoku Direct... as it has been clipped to only the Noda Line middle section in this video.
