This is why I love KZread. Priceless.

I realize Carl is probably the last guy I would want coming after me if I ran a company, but I've always admired his balls, independence, street smarts and intelligence. He also has bouts of humor that are pretty special.

I paid for college by following Boone's recommendations in Natural Gas 2012-2014. He does see things ahead of the curve, I had to sit on the position for a year with not that much movement, but it eventually sky rocketed. Thank you for introducing me to commodities!

How times have changed. Back in their day, Carl Icahn and T. Boone Pickens were referred to as *"corporate raiders"* . Today, their ilk is now referred to *"activist investors"* .

its interesting to see Icahn a little nervous about his positions in oil companies. Still, one of the greatest investors of our time

I loved this video and loved watching you guys swap stories like this. As someone that has the utmost respect and admiration for legends like these two men it was really wonderful to see that they are human and down to earth great people. Only in my dreams could I ever be as great a trader as they are but damn one day I sure would like to be in their league. All I need now is a million dollar investor or two and look out guys I'm going to emulate you and walk in your footstep one day and videos like this are great inspiration so thank you so much for sharing.

if you didn't no them you'd say t boone is the richest one cause he talks so much and shows off... but in reality carl ichan is worth 20 times more. very interesting to see how humble carl is compared to the loud mouth pickens.

Great video. Too bad billionaires can't afford better production though.

A little truth -- the cost of oil/hydro carbon production in the USA, because of USA technology (directional drilling and fracturing completion) has lower the cost of finding new barrels to the $20 to $30 level. If this technology were applied to all oil fields in the world the production would triple. This creates a new fundamental in the world. Oil technology change means excess oil production forever !!!!
