I’ve spent this past year growing alot as a person.
As I made this video, I reflected on the past 9 years I’ve been chasing
my dream as a music video director.
I realized I needed to take a step back from being caught up
in a materialistic view of success and remember what it was like
when I first started.
I was purely grateful to just be chasing a dream.
As time has passed and things have changed, I’ve struggled alot with
approaching my work from a place of “earning respect”and wanting to
be looked as as successful and influential.
I’ve spent the whole year trying to shift into a better mindset,
focus more on what makes me happy and figure out how to move forward.
And I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress there.
So, I’m excited to go into 2024 with a new perspective and get back
to being happy with my work and helping people along the way.
It sounds corny, but at the end of the day, I started doing all
this in a pursuit to help others.
and I think the fact that I can share that, is beautiful.
I can never ever put into words how grateful I am for all the people I’ve met,
all the artists I’ve worked with, and all the hearts and minds I may have
touched on the pursuit of all of this.
