what I love about 2nd gen artists is that you can easily identify when they sing live. I mean backing vocals is present but you actually still hear them sing.

yeah older gen groups had more focus on vocals, so no matter what "position" they're in, they were still significantly adept at singing. Nowadays most groups seem to focus on dancing while having 1-2 members having good vocals, which is cool, but also sad because they're making music you know? I feel like I really underappreciated all the groups from 10 years ago

This song was everywhere back then even when international kpop communities were small. We would all dance to it when they performed on music shows. Great times. K-Pop now tries to copy each other to get famous which makes them look and sound the same. This song was also up against two other legendary songs. Those were the days.

Those were the days indeed. As a sone I appreciate the 2nd gen though. They were allowed to be closer and more real, and the sentiment was different. Until now I could not get to any group of 3rd (except exo) or 4th gen. I'm getting on my feelings right now lol.

Yep, same, and this was actually one of the first, if not the first, modern K-pop songs I liked. I still remember the first time I saw Jiyeon's glare in the MV, it was just the definition of cool and charismatic, and dare I say, unmatched till this day.

That's a bit of a pessimistic thought. It's a compliment. Either they still look youthful or has just aged well. Also that no longer practicing for days or even years has not made their moves look awkward. It means they still look entertaining onstage, still has the star quality, and not just a memory of what they once were. Kinda the same feel as when 2NE1 had a coachella reunion and people's thoughts are like, ",Damn, they still make the fire in my blood soar and course through my veins." It does not mean, "Oh they are already old, I expected them to sound bad now."

T-ARA is the most talented and most beautiful girl group of all time. They are absolute legends.

when I was still in high school, if there was a dance competition or talent show, T-ara, Sistar, Wonder Girl, Kara, 4 Minutes, SNSD, F (X) and many more would be the group of choice. Whether is good or not, it doesn’t matter because the important is your confidence and satisfaction..😁😁😁

This and Lovey Dovey were the most iconic song back in 2nd gen era!

t-ara never disappoints with live vocals

This is a one and only K-pop girl group that I find all of its members are having their own special beauty and attractiveness

Eunjung is still the same!! Since dream high she is still pretty and jiyeon the visual!! And wow!! So nice to hear their song and seeing them perform again after a long time.

For the K-pop genre T-ara undoubtably one of the best, quality still shines through...a lot of these other groups if they were to perform their songs ten years later wouldn't have the same impact

As a new fan of T-ARA in 2021 I feel like I been through a Time Machine to learn and see all their music in just 12 months. For decades I listen to Classic Rock then my daughter would play K-Pop around the house. I wasn't hooked yet till COVID changed my lifestyle not being able to see live entertainment. Then You-Tube hooked me on K-POP videos. QRI my favorite.

T-ARA ❤, they never disappoint.

T-ARA is one of the group in 2nd gen with solid vocal line. Eventho one of their main vocal has left the group, remaining member could cover up her part perfectly. 4th gen nowadays can't relate, once their important member left the group, they lose their colours and strength completely.

@@ivantaufik5320 Not necessarily (re: old age). I only got into k-pop during 2020 lockdowns (in Australia) and I personally prefer 2nd generation k-pop over current k-pop. Twice has had some songs I like but nothing much recently has been exciting; Blackpink hasn't really done anything in a while; I couldn't get into anything from BTS; aespa has done a few interesting songs, as has ITZY; Red Velvet do some nice stuff...but 2nd generation feels classic and the peak of k-pop.
