they did a lot of recordings and versions in different notes to every couplet/chorus for each song and their producer selected the ones who go into the song, they worked very hard and he selected Yulia for most of the screamin recordings, after their 200PV tour n 200KM promotion, they started to work with 2nd album, but Ivan didn't understand Yulia couldn't sing high notes that's why they had a lot of fights and broke the contract.

People talk shit about Julia because she "doesnt" sing as good as Lena, but is not her fault, her voice got really damaged because the stupid Ivan ( ex producer) made her scream even when the doctor told her not to do it any more. You can actually hear the difference between the first and the second album, her voice is not as powerfull as it used to be.

Blame Ivan for it. He picked Yulia to do the screaming and screeching. Yulia kept asking Ivan if she could stop screaming. He denied her and threaten to drop her if she wouldn't scream. He didn't care about her vocals at all.

@@nicorizzo5402 There is videos floating around on YT. From most likely from behind the scene docos they used to do. One video had Yulia's mother begging Ivan for Yulia to have time off to see a doctor because Yulia's throat was sore. She even said "I will pay for her to see a doctor." Ivan didn't give a fuck. In another video Yulia is annoyed and said "Make her (Lena) do the screaming." Ivan just laughed. All Ivan cared for was raking in money from those two. More or less like Kim Fowley from The Runaways.

Yulia developed a vocal cyst while they were recording their second album (or at least that's when they first discovered it but it likely started developing during the first album). Her voice officially died while recording Вся Моя Любовь and she wasn't able to scream anymore after that. Her cancer surgery killed what little was left of her voice, but the truth is she had lost all that power long before that.

It was apart of their contract to act like innocent schoolgirl lesbians, and they said ''No'' thousands of times when Ivan didn't hear. Ivan is smart, their videos from the first era were better than the new ones, their songs and coreographies aslo were great, but when they became famous he just gone crazy, he lost his mind control (as Lena herself said at one of Podnebesnaya reality episode) so at 2nd album project he exploted them and wanted everything on his way, without listen to any of their oppinions, the project wasn't going ok, they had a lot of fights and disscutions so in part it was good they broke up with him

@maiownway Not exactly. She had some problems with her throat. But she could get better. The doctor told her not to scream, but her manager kinda forced her to do this. She got bad and lost her old voice.

after 3 surgeries to remove a vocal cyst, had birth in 2004 and maduration process her voice was half gone, but when they signed a new contract with the producer Boris Rensky she started to take vocal lessons between January and March 2005 to record her "screaming" parts for Dangerous And Moving without damage her vocals chords, but her voice isn't the same, there are sequels that couldn't be erased, she can't sing high notes anymore, but she can sing normal ones :)

I'm not sure if the first demo of this song was this version or sneg po ladonyam. Course they also made 200 po vstrechnoi (the nnd demo) and begite za nami somewhere in the mix too. They had so many variations on these lyrics and idk what order they went in.

@Gaaralver2damax I completly understand all of that. But, they wasn't 10 years old. They were 14-15 at the begining, and later, they were much older. They had mind of their own, and they could say NO! I don't blame them for anything, I know it was Ivan's fault, I really don't like him, he looks to me like one really evil man, but what is the use of who was or wasn't fault now? t.A.T.u. don't exist anymore, Yulia can't sing anymore like she used to... There is no point to blame anyone... :/

They ARE together now. Have you seen their performance in Kiev last night? The way they looked at each other was the same as 10 years ago. All is forgiven and well, now. I've said bad things about my best friend and so has she, that's how it is. If you always agree with someone, it's impossible, we're all different. Different views, thoughts, lives. Exactly, plus even from their earliest demos we know lena was just as capable of screaming as yulia was, so idk why he insisted on making yulia the screamer.

Yulia I can tell that it hurt her voice, they kept on forcing her to go louder and better that's why she needs so much surgery on her vocal cords all he wanted was money :/

Sorry, but I don't agree. In 7 years that I know her, I've never argue with my best friend, or I've ever even thing to say something bad, neither is she. For me, that is golden friendship. Yes, I had 'friends' and yes, they did disapointed me and I them, but after a while I realised the waren't my friends to begin with. I'm glad Yulia and Lena worked things out, but in my eyes, they are even more fake now then they did before. No hard feelings, just my opinion ;)) Greetings :)

All friends argue at some point. And yulia and lena haven't exactly worked things out cause yulia kept talking shit about lena, refused to get back together unless lena gave yulia full control, and then stopped talking to her altogether. Yulia may be fake but lena is the realest of the real.

Actually it was the other way around. Julia was trying to get back, but Lena kept talking shut about her in media and didn't want to come back because being solo she felt better than Julia.

@@CariiClaire Well she IS better off now, that is true, but I don't doubt that every word Lena said about what happened with Yulia is true because MANY people who know Yulia, including their old team, have confirmed that Yulia really is like that and that's the real reason Tatu broke up. She's mean to people, she exploits and manipulates people, she's a control freak but also doesn't like to work, she has crazy mood swings and she throws a fit whenever she doesn't get her way. Plus we all saw that Yulia was the one talking shit about Lena as soon as they started their solo careers, while Lena was respectful to Yulia the whole time. Yulia only tried to get the band back together when she realized her own solo career was going nowhere while Lena was actually doing well.

Julia has cleaned up her a lot. Lena forgave her and I'm sure Julia even feels silly about the whole thing. Now they talk, they're doing performances together and just ended one today as I type this. Julia has went back to her normal self. I think maybe...she definitely handled the split of t.A.T.u. in an aggressive way, but it's better than her just ignoring the whole thing. I think she showed her pain and hurt through anger, but all is well now and you with the rest of us should move on =)

This was years ago so idk if you're aware of what happened since then, but they almost got back together before yulia fucked everything up and insisted lena relinquish full control to yulia. Not to mention she's just been homophobic, sexist, and all around disgusting. Lena is the only one who's still a decent person and she's the only one with a successful solo career.
