I have a T+A CALA, im living in a small apartment, it is definately the best amplifier i have owned, and i have owned a few in my time. I am using a external dac though.

I prefer T and A 😂. Looks like their equipment is very nice.

I owen a T+A Dac 8dsd and a Denafrips Venus 2,T+A is more dynamic and neutral,more detailed.

These speakers ... wow.

No doubt... some of the best sound available... but... at a premium price! And... you can't tell what component is most critical to producing that sound. Guess you have to buy it all, or nothing...

If you mean the T+A DAC 8 DSD, the DAC 200 and 200 Series is effectively the successor to the 8 Series. Using trickle down technology from the SD 3100 HV Reference DAC, the DAC 200 brings much of T+A's digital expertise down to the under $10k category. That includes DSD1024 and an analog resistor-based volume stage. When you consider that the DAC 8 DSD was doing DSD512 back in the middle of the last decade, 2015-2016, T+A is way ahead of the game. That remains true of the 200 series - this DAC is a competitor to DACs up to $20k. We havent been this excited for a new DAC since the SD 3100 HV Reference DAC was released!
