Shouldn't be hard, look up the lyrics and then listen, it all sounds fine to me

I shouldn't have to listen to a song with subtitles in a language I speak fluently in.

I think the other person meant is that if you heard the song, you know the lyrics because the production on the studio version features the voice in the front of the production, so it's easier to make out her words. It's not always easy to make out the words of live performances. That's why I like to listen to the studio version first.
