i feel happy that shes so famous now, but at the same time i feel happy that i knew of her when she was making this music too! but i am glad that everyone discovered her!! it just sometimes feels really cool to know that you knew about an artist in their earlier days :) People who knew of her before she was "mainstream" and use that to seem better than others are lame though. everyone who listens to her is valid and a real fan despite when or why they heard of her!!

@@gleseamv not only that but sometimes when artists become more mainstream, the music they make runs the risk of getting overplayed and it ruins the experience for a lot of older supporters. it feels like a closer tight knit community when there arent a bunch more people here when artists blow up if you know what i mean. i am happy for sza and her successes as well as everybody else who gets the recognition they deserve, it just feels like something special is taken away from us and we have to get used to our hidden gem being not so hidden anymore

And the mentioning of using scissors is about "cutting" the devil out of her head (not literal, but getting rid of). To be at peace. It's not satan promotion anymore than either of us mentioning satan in our comments. The name of the song (Euphrasia) is named after a ("brain food") plant used in herbal tea, something she also mentions in the beginning of the song, along side soy milk. She is clearly a spiritual woman.
