Toxicity holds me down with a unique nostalgia.. Its a brief pre 9/11 feel for me with chop suey being everything was just progressing as usual when I was listening to it on radio starting my senior year but for the whole album the feels is post 9/11 being a sudden change with dark sorrow and a fear of a draft cause I was 18, plus I was so ready to graduate high school into a new life was new and exciting to help get over what has happened. I didn't get the album til late that September and was just constantly listening to it, then my friends mom passed from cancer and soon after I lost another friend in a tragic car accident. So when I hear this album or any song I'm shot back to a time I always wanted to end.

I was live at this concert, i just turned 20 years old back then and was completely new to festivals. I didn't know SOAD at all and my friends (inc me) took place in the moshpit, i didn't even know what a moshpit was. Turned out to be one of the best events in my life and still one of the best concerts i've ever been to. Thank you for posting!

I'm tired of people saying that. The issue with Serj isn't the less growls or screaming it's that his clean vocals are nasal 100% of the time now. we understand not screaming/growling as much but when he sings every clean part nasal rather than low/deep t's annoying.

I was there, in the pit, left front. And I managed to get in the pit of Rammstein directly after this show as well. I had to run for it and think I might be the only one who made it. At least I saw nobody else running and the gate of the Rammstein pit closed 2 seconds after I got in. :D

Прыгать, орать, толкаться на полную катушку под свои любимые песни. Люди изливают эмоции, можно даже сказать, выпускают пар в диком моше. Этим ты отдыхаешь, становишься тем кто ты есть, протестуешь и любишь. Вот это реально отрыв товарищи! Это событие. Праздник! И сами музыканты получают незабываемый кайф, это видно не вооружённым взглядом. Те, кто пишет про хреновое качество игры и т.д. ничерта не понимают! Таким и должен быть настоящий метал концерт, настоящее шоу. На них просто интересно смотреть, согласитесь. Посмотрите сколько в комментах тайм ссылок. При всех этих эмоциях на сцене, ты просто физически не сможешь играть точно. Да это и не нужно, поскольку музыка передаёт твоё состояние безудержного бунтарства, адреналина, энергии и слэма, от которых в свою очередь, получают кайф зрители. Посмотрите, как там все бесятся, просто восторг! Меня задолбали лайвы, где музыканты просто выходят, стоят, ходят туда сюда и исполняют точь в точь как на студийке... Это скучно и неинтересно. Какой смысл? "Сидеть в креслах" как на Иосифе Кобзоне... Хочешь качества - слушай студийку. Или иди на концерт классической музыки, шансона. А это РОК детка! Хочешь попасть в бурю живого шоу, иди на концерт где музыканты понимают это состояние отрыва! Таких интересных лайвов как этот концерт SOAD по пальцам пересчитать. Ещё Marilyn Manson раньше делал крутые шоу, году где то в 1997, там тоже было интересно смотреть. И костюмы и поведение в образе. А сейчас все лайвы однообразные, никакого адреналина, бунтарства, провокации, никакого представления. Выходят в джинсах и свитерах! Что за время!!!?
