I see many people criticizing Serj's vocals or saying that he was sick in this concert, but this was the perfomance that made me fall in love with this song, feels so heartfelt and so haunting in the beggining specially.

Serj seems to be always less implicated emotionally on stage than in a recording studio. SOAD performs at its best in a studio. You can t blame him, that s the way he was.

I mean who's to blame Serj if he was a little sick, you can literally see his breath. It was definitely cold so I'd understand if he was a little under the weather lmao. So they might be right. I think he sounds fine though!!

John is one of the most underrated drummers of all time also he is one of the best drummers of the universe.❤

I love this band more than anything. So underrated. I love them. I am a Muslim lady and I never listen to rock much but will never stop being moved and chilled by their music.

I wrote an essay for a college course about the ways different regions and cultures respond to metal music. A lot of studies show a lot of Muslims are rather tolerant and respectful of heavy metal. One Muslim even compared moshing to a form of prayer. Such an interesting and beautiful culture and religion. Thank you for sharing.

I saw some people in the comments saying that Serj's voice wasn't so good in this presentation, either I'm crazy or I don't know, to me he sounds perfect here, it passes all the emotional energy that this song has, hitting the high notes...

One of my favorite SOAD songs, and I’m never surprised of their performance 🤟

they thought nobody saw what they did in the holy mountain, they thought no one heard what they have done at the holy mountain, and once again they thought no other one smells what they did on the holy mountain, but the stars above our head saw the tears of the victims and the trees surround them heard the scream and the shout of the innocents and also the wind blow smells the fear of the abandoned stick at the wooden cross with wound and pain until the fugitives taste their tears of blazing fire, scream and shout of angry souls and abandoned rotten flesh with curse and spells

I used to admire most to Daron but now i admire John and shavo the same or even more ,John Is one of the Best drummers

I am one quarter Armenian and three quarters black and as such, I am the product of genocide, suffering, slavery, rape, and murder on both sides. Most Armenians do not recognize me as being "pure" enough to be one of their own, but regardless I will be there today shouting for my great-great grandparents and thanking them for their bravery and sacrifice.

The difference between you and them is that their suffering was a lot more recent. Serj remembers hearing bombs dropping in school before moving to the States to give you a point of reference.

I have been told by a friend to not greet her in public because she wasn't supposed to have black friends. Don't assume. We still suffer here.

SleighJessi Yeah, but Armenians' suffering 50 years ago is like African Americans' suffering from 150 years ago, suffering being a noun and being very specific in what happened to them. It also didn't help they were lumped in with all of the Middle Easterns after 9/11, making them experience your kind of suffering now. Now, I must've skipped over the part in your comment where you said that you were part Armenian because I genuinely didn't know and just read that part, so I'm sorry for that.

I loved Daron's Iceman Signatures, but I will admit the Gibson SG sounds cleaner live. Daron And Shavo both have signature models from Gibson now, and they both are able to reach heavy tones while maintain a clean sound.

@@arcjimmy8548 The song is about the Armenian Genocide, so I guess "Liar" means the Turkish lying and denying the genocide 104 years later, "killer" meaning the Turkish people killing the Armenians Assyrians and Greeks and "Demon" I am not sure. I could be wrong though

Throughout this entire song, you can tell Johns drumming has improved a ton! From when he was screwin up in Reading, germany during psycho, to nailing everything in this song, i say Great job John!!! :D cant wait for the 2011 tour to starrt!
