Same as yakobaya/orthodox. This church split from orthodox and converted to catholic church in 1930.

It's not split from orthodox, the Syro Malankara is an apostolic church, not regional blabla bava church. It's parent church is Antiochian syrian church presided by the patriarchs Ignatius. Syro Malankara rejoined to the biggest apostolic church to avoid bloody street fights of orthodox goons, orthodox isn't a Christian church.
