I'm glad we could help those people, especially that poor sweet girl who was crying. This is why it's so important to help refugees.

Your right.
Hate comments... Hate comments everywhere. And all coming from people who don't know the devistation and horrors of war. If you are not feeling sorry for the unfortunate at least shame yourselves about laughing at them.

How many times have you been to Turkey or Lebanon? How many camps did you visit there? Do you have any idea about the number of refrugees in those countries? I know your answers ofcourse but why don't you share them with the rest of the viewers...

This is beautiful! ❤️
Thank You #Canada You make me and all of us Proud! There you go...The REAL meaning of legitimate, meaningful, compassionate and empathetic social integration. Are you listening Europe?! Canada just knows how to do it. My parents were immigrants to Canada and felt Canadian from the get go. Why? Because Canada includes and does not exclude...When you become a Canadian, You are a Canadian like everyone else...Unconditionally.

***** Have you ever, even once, spoken to a Muslim? Or do you just buy the anti-Islam bullshit that is fed to you by the media? If you were to speak to these people, you might just find that they are just that, *PEOPLE*, people who just want to live their lives in peace. But no, you'd rather have somebody to hate, wouldn't you? Don't bother replying to me with a bunch of bullshit that you've gotten off of some hate website, I'm not interested in propaganda. I sincerely hope you're not Canadian, as bigots like you smear our good image in the eyes of the world.

Michael Coulter AHAHAHA, so frigging funny! Canada will be the first among all libertarian Commonwealth countries to disintegrate and it will happen still during your lifetime. And when it happens I will be far away in highly developed monolinguacultural Far East cheering your disastrous ruin! \(^o^)/
That is so great. I started crying at the end. Happy Canada Day!!!
Almost teared up for a minute, happy Canada day
Canadians get DECKED out on Canada day, especially in Ottawa! Great times on Parliament Hill 🇨🇦❤️
Helping those in need and extending a warm welcome to people who enter our country from less fortunate circumstances are core components of Canada's multicultural and diverse society. The only citizens who are out of place in our beautiful country are the ones who don't realize this.
I'm so happy my country took in refugees. If my government can help deserving families like this one, I am very content. Hurray Canada!

@@incubator6916 If you are one yes I am ashamed that you drink so mightly from the right wing trough. I don't think it is all that relevant that in accepting refugees in the 40s one made an errenoeous claim. It would be worse to not be williung to help.
Theres alot of hate comments here because these people are getting everything for free....and the people who actually were born here ask for help its like... NO SORRY ...NOT QUALIFIED

That is a myth spread by the regressive Conservatives. 4 million Syrians were displaced . A recent census of all those displaced had it as at least as high as in the Second World War. You don't have to be born here to be Canadian. One in five Canadians was not. Getting back to your economic point though guess who the most economically beneficial group of Canadians are.... ( you can check my facts over at Stats. Canada and you can if you fear they want you to believe it look them up in various places that are not Canadian but measure outcomes for immigrants, refugees or a nations econony - I will tell you because you apparently take too much information in meme form without checking if it is right - which is why I strongly suggest you do. The Humanitarian class immigrant on average generates the most employment ( in the immigrant category the investor class is the most dissapointing doing only what is necessary nearly all of the time - hopefully this form will be aboloishedd ) You may have read some of the economic success stories of our more recent arrivals . All social programs have requirements. So if you don't qualify there hass to be a reason. Now while I don't think less of those born here because breaking down value to the economy in terms of job creatsion and other value added bits to the economy those with born here privilege are on average the least useful to the economy. Less likely to be in full time employment 9 there are plenty of jobs lest you feel tempted to comment others took yours ) On the job note a regfugee gets social assistance for a year. If you have ever been on social assistance you will know it's not exaclty a great way to live but if you are a regugee you might not live without a place to go. Most find employmnet in less time although looking at outcomes comparing govt sponsored with private sponsorship the privately sponsored did much better on average. I am disabled and while in theory the govt woudl pay for a matress that adequately supports my back that can take a year or more so it's mostly in theory ... Without the help from a local furniture store owner whose polcy it is to make all matresses damaged slightly and thus they have delivery denied available for free to those who need them versus the usual selling them for less . Free. If he had not chosen Canada I would be using more health care dollars and as I cannot easily get off the floor if I had to sleep on it who knows. If you have a problem with refugees you need to get actual facts. Have valid concerns including the govt seems far less able to help people integrate than others which is curerently being looked at as we do keep good metrics. You had the great fortune by accident of birth to have "born here " privlege. Some of my cousins were born here. When we first came I would stare at my near age cousin trying to work out what this to me strange thing might mean and how it would help me become more Canadian. Our father had ideas so we were on skates on our 8th day here. It was informative for me as the cousin who had feet most recently my size was male and thus my hockey skates as not for girls came up. I did wonder what kind of country let people slid around on blades for recreation. Eventually I got used to it. I was even good at it until a few things went downhill physically. You are so lucky to be from here . You can afford to be generous with that great good fortune.
They are so happy and grateful to be in a first world country, but for most of us including myself. Were just here........
From Portugal, all the best for Canada and for all refugees everywhere.

They seem like a wonderful family. I hope they settle well into their new home and intergrate into Canadian society. Do not forget that Canada was founded by settlers from many other countries. All peoples must be given the benefit of the doubt, but commit a crime or treason and be expelled.

All those young fighting age men fleeing their countries like cowards instead of fighting for their country. Will they fight for Canada or flee again if conflict ever comes here?
Now this is great they want to integrate i would take 1 million of them.
oh please....I hope these people have been properly vetted

Yes, an entire family was surely fabricated out of polystyrene, paint, and maple syrup, just for the sake of trying to win the votes of syrians! Obviously this is what happened, rather than, y'know, a bunch of people being grateful that they don't have to worry about getting gunned down, nerve gassed, butchered or burned alive by a fascist regime.

It's on your tube. The simple solution is to not hit play or when you suspect it is propaganda go to you suggested play list and choose something else. It is news that those who needed a home badly tend to be grateful. Why not be happy for the lives saved and proud.
