Oh thanks so much the cutting one was scarry and I'm pretty brave ....I'm new to wigs. But I'm 66 and on long term chemo medication for an auto immune disease ..my hair is long but it's so thin that with moon face from steroids I m embarrassed and so don't go out ...my carers now do two braids so I can cross them and clip them slide on my wig and a bit of makeup and i feel good about myself and so much more confident like my old self SO I AM LIVING MY BEST WIG LIFE !! 😊😊😊 thank you for all your help and advice ❤️❤️❤️

@@JesseMSimons if you only knew how hard it is for this ex truck driving crazy Sicilian extrovert...feels living in England where they don't really get ",All " of me ......life's been really difficult getting through lock down and gaining to over 300 lbs (5'8"). . so now I'm on a weight loss journey as well.. I don't have room for a rug wall but I've got cost hooks behind the door in my bedroom...I've already had two disaster's my mini poodle s age 1 and 2 thought two of my favourite wigs were varmints and ravished them ..I got that Silicone stuff rubbed them down and soaked with fabric softener and poof. Good as new 🙂🙂🙂❤️.. Next project is going to be. Dying a couple of them to hopefully more my ash tone than gold or yellow...and a bit of thinning..I've already got 10 I put them on even if I'm not going out now just because they make me feel pretty.....🙂🙂🙂❤️

Thanks so much for this tutorial. My poor ears were getting smashed by my eartabs. It was so easy using your instructions to sew up some wefts. Once I realized I wasn’t doing embroidery 😅 and relaxed, it was easy. And my wig finally fit. I watched other tutorials, but they all made things way too complicated. Thanks for keeping it simple.

New to wigs; am petite/average, leaning petite and have several inexpensive wigs that are large everywhere (so, in the area you address in this tutorial, AND ear to ear, with current wigs fitting 1/2 way OVER my ears liike poor fitting earmuffs hehe... I instinctively grabbed with my hands in back, as you show, to get a sense of how loose it was, and was SO tempted to try the solution you demonstrate, but it seemed too simplistic and challenging all at the same time given my zero skillset in sewing.... and ALSO, was worried about bunching afterwards... THANKS to YOU, I will be brave, and give it a go; worst that can happens is I have to trial n error a few times and at very worst, if unsatisfied, simply remove my handiwork. Also, great tip about using clear thread as I was. just obsessing over which colors to get as my wigs range from dark blond rooted, to medium/dark browns. With your idea of CLEAR, it won't matter WHICH wig color I am tailoring. DO you have any clear thread recommendations? FABULOUS TUTORIAL; thanks again!!!

JESSE PLEASE HELP!!! I have long but fine and had some thinning as I have gotten older! 70 next month. But I LOVE long hair but only need/want to wear toppers. There are wigs that I really like BUT I WANT TOPPERS. Do you offer a service to make toppers from wigs? Could I send to you and pay to have them done??? I an very worried I would ruin them. Do you have videos on how to make a wig that’s too small fit? I bought a couple of wigs that are supposed to fit a head my size (22.5”) and they’re so small!!
