Can you do it with the long division to see if they have the same quotient?

Not sure I understand, but you should get the same results if you perform long division instead of synthetic division.

@StudyForceOnline I'm not really sure how to divide it if the x has a coefficient beside it. I tried solving it in long division, but I still couldn't get the same answer.
