I think a perfect addition to your channel - since you are the guy who plays synthesizers in the forest - is to be the go-to guy who offers knowledgeable about powering synthesizers and what we need to be able to operate them out in nature away from a power supply. There’s lots of weird advice out there and not always correct and not all synthesizers require the same thing.

Thank you for your comment. That's a cool idea. It's just that most of the instruments I use outdoors are simply battery powered. In the Zoom Ms 70 video above, I'm powering it from USB, but this possibility is announced by the manufacturer, and the Ms 70 itself is such a popular effect that I probably wouldn't bring anything new with this information :) My only discovery is the possibility of powering the Kurzweil SP 6-7 from a Power Bank (my last video) using a Ripcord cable, but this is probably the only such curiosity on my channel :)

Very beutiful. The start reminded me a bit of some melancholic New Age music by Nightnoise or Enya. It then evolves into a brighter composition with a solid song more in line with pol conventions - which worked very well for me. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.

Constantly relistening to this atm! Reface has become my favourite hardware synths with it's parameters and amazing ability to control everything. What reverb unit did you use on this recording? It's so gentle yet massive!

Thank you. I used DX reverb, and in Zoom Ms, I used Mod Delay to reduce the cut effect when switching presets.

That's a nice composition, but if the synth is going direct into the zoom, then the forest is not really adding anything to the sound, and is just there for the visual aesthetics?

You're right. Since I take a musical instrument outdoors, I should always try to record the ambient sound as well. Unfortunately, this does not always work out. Sometimes I'm in a place that seems appropriate (nice), but the ambient sound is so subtle that I would probably only register noise. Thank you for your comment and valid suggestion :)

Dziękuję 🙂 Generalnie Zoom jest fajny, ale czasem brak mi cierpliwosci na niekończące się w nim grzebanie 😉 Stąd uzywam go głównie do lekkiego reverbu, a np delay ustawiam na osobnej kostce. Tak jest szybciej i zwyczajnie lepiej. Natomiast sam Zoom sprawdza się super z różnego rodzaju zabawkami o kiepskim brzmieniu, zamieniając je w niezłe instrumenty 🙂

I use one preset on the whole keyboard. Unfortunately Reface Dx doesn't have the possibility to split the keyboard into two different presets.

Thank you for your comment. You've given me some food for thought ;) Maybe someday I'll try to record a tutorial. As for the video above, on the other hand, I couldn't say much. Here there are only simple melodies, two sounds, and everything run through an external reverb to minimize the effect of cut sound when switching patches :)
