I have gone to a Dirty Shirley 40 with a Syn 2 plugged into to the power section of the DS to make an awesome five channel set up. Think the Syn stuff is really good. I especially like the SLO and 800 modules and look forward to the BE Deluxe module that is on the way.

A slight edge to the head here... the lower mids are clearer, and the low end is more defined and musical to my ears. Synergy is a bit more mushy, but it's a small difference, not night and day.

It's good to hear that excellent chug from a Deliverance. I was sure it could do it but never heard it.

Hey Blake…cool demo. Both sound great . Head is master but synergy stands on its own quite well.

Synergy sounded more crisp and modern. Head sounded a bit more woody. Very similar overall though. Nice!

The Synergy stuff does sound really good but it's different than the original heads. If one can accept is as it's own thing and view the modules as different flavours of Synergy then great. If the hope is to get the tones of all these heads then you will always return to the heads in the end.

Yea man I agree with you. The Synergy stuff stands on its own for me. They just flat out sound great. Whether they match the real heads or not is irrelevant to me at this point, but figured I’d share

I think they sound pretty similar to the heads, but they are just not as open and big sounding. But I see them being usefull and it's a really cool concept!

@@blakemansfield2356 Id.get a actual Randall RM 100 head and have the midi board upgraded to be able to run the 2 ch modules..That's what I am going to do with mine. I have a Jaded Faith SLO module and it sounds exactly like a SLO 100 with the 3 D tone and all.

IDK, Synergy modules are the best stock out of the box. But for the actual circuit design of the amp you're after jaded faith builds the Randall and Egnator modules into anything you want. My Jaded Faith SLO module has the crunch and overdrive channels of a SLO 100, which sounded so damn good and better then my HotRod 100+ head, that I ended up trading that head for a Revv Generator Mk3 P head.

What speakers are you running in your Stoneage cabs? I have two 4x12 Stoneage cabs. One with all greenbacks and the other with V30’s and Redbacks in an x pattern. He makes the best cabs in my opinion.
