Thanks! I sang this song at a party in 66 before I started playing guitar later that year. I've been haunted by a couple guitar parts for 50 years so it's great to see how they are played finally....thanks!

This was one of the first live groups I saw at Medford, Or HS tennis courts. Always liked this song and their amps were Fender Twin Reverbs; Loud & Clean!! Thanks much Bruce.

Thanks for this tutorial on a classic '60s garage rock tune. Easy to understand. Although at first I was confused by your reference to dominant 7th's, I would just call them 7th chords myself. Thanks for posting this.

Excellent best lesson breakdown you should do all the lessons for all the songs you explain the chords slow enough to understand some Internet teachers are too busy showing off that they can play the song you are fantastic my hat is off to you you should list all the songs that you play I just started playing again after a seven-year layoff for a stroke before that I had been playing since 1971 and relearning many of these songs you are tremendously helpful and I remember the time when I used to buy song books that put everything in the key of C so they threw out my money I think you again

THAT "CHORDED LICK" that the presenter here does off of the open "A" chord at the 5:40 time-counter mark -, just sounds SO quintessentially "mid 60's-ish" ! Playing riffs off of chords was a very common motif in 1960s-era "Garage Rock" tunes. ~ By the way, I wound-up researching this song here, because I had been learning the `90s-era song "Malibu" by the band Hole -, and IT ALSO uses that same A-maj/A-9th/A-sus "chorded lick" towards the last of the song during its secondary "verse" portions. Encountering that motif made me think, "Where ELSE have I heard that 'lick' long ago ?" -, and this Syndicate of Sound song came-to-mind.
