@@Newlinjim no it would never throw a code and the CEL would be off half the time. I finally was able to see the code when a buddy checked it with his scanner

That's exactly what mine is doing I've put over 400 in to it still doesn't crank and all left is fuel pump this video just proved it

If it doesn't crank you've either have a bad battery starter cables or you have bigger problems

I've came to the point of it might have slipped time alil turns over fine brand new battery fuel pump fuel filter coil packs ignition control module still just turning over but not busting off so idk I'm bout to scrape this mother fuker

Throttle position sensor controls A TON of different things with the engine like idle, how smooth the transmission shifts or changes in gears, how much gas the injectors should be getting (not enough or too much randomly will cause constant misfires and making the fire timing off.. horrible experience) And will drop rpm and cause it to stall coming from a stop, especially when it's cold. Replace it with a perfectly new OEM throttle position sensor and this could most likely take care of a bunch of problems, if not the one you were looking for.

My car runs like this but is intermittent. I’ve noticed recently that it seems to run fine when the tank is full. It hasn’t ever stalled out though:

Same thing with my girlfreinds 1996 mustang gt. Trying to diganose the problem. Sometimes it starts and somtimes it dosnt. It has power cranks but seems like its not getting fuel. She also said it seem so like it when she fill it up and has more power. Thought it was the filter but its still acting up

@smiddy434 replaced the flue pump and that seemed to do it but it still is starting rough. Just got a fuel injector pressure tester to see if the fuel pump is priming right. It runs fine but it act like it's not getting enough fuel when cranking. I have to turn the key over 2-3 times to prine the fuel pump then crank it.

My Honda civic 2002, it will actually start but the engine also shakes while parked & running. It also sputter gas on its own. It seems to run fine then all of a sudden stalls while driving. Then the next day it acts as if NOTHING happened?!. Then we are back to the same issue. I have changed a leaking radiator & changed spark plug (not wiring coil). Now i can't seem to drive a block without it stalling then drive normal the longer I drive. Crazy. Not sure if its spark plug wiring coil issue or fuel pump? Would appreciate any insight.

My car won't let me go over miles and it cuts off

My car idles fine, accelerates fine through the gears if you go half throttle. But if you try flooring it when it’s going around 2-3k rpm it sputters like crazyy. Anyone else experience this?

Obviously not enough fuel, but dont automatically assume its the low pressure fuel pump (in gas tank). Sometimes it can be an issue with the high pressure pump (in the engine, where the low pressure pump sends the fuel to be more highly pressurized). It all depends on if you have a direct injection vehicle.

The engine stuttering like that is likely because of misfiring, lack of fuel injection in each cylinder due to said failed pump.

2013 maxima have gone through 3 fuel pumps idk what else to do. Please advisd

My nissan sunny did exactly like what I'm seeing now and now it cannot start but it cranks.

My car does that I changed the alternator and battery and I find out this was the issue

See my cars almost like that but she actually running in idel but dying out when i gas it , would that be more of a filter issue or what?

what was it? My car left me stranded and that is exactly what happened to me as well. But now is barely starting. And if it does start it will shut down after 1 sec like in the video.

It the fuel pressure regulator sensor most common part that should be replaced first.. see if that help

Hi Rainpuddles I am not quite sure , before you change fuel Pump please check your fuel filter, fuel regulator , are you experiencing problems even if you have half tank in your tank .

Seems like everyone car acting I’ve been dealing with my car cutting off to change alternator main relay distributor coil and still have this problem my spark plugs are good as well idk what it could be I have a 96 Honda accord lx 193k miles good motor and transmission

@@GunzNBunz it would crank but won’t start after getting a new icm it fired up right away but I’d go as far as the distributor coil and my icm check those that maybe your problem also check your battery and alternator get those tested first

My car has been doing the same thing. Was it forsure the fuel pump for you? Edit: it was the distributor for my car 1993 Honda accord

Hi check your fuel pump, fuel pump regulator,fuel filter , relay of the fuel pump and the fuel strainer in the fuel tank . I wish you good luck 👍.

@@robbyamparo2297 Purchased a new fuel pump. Just waiting to install in a few days then i'll let cha know how it goes. Also plan on replacing the MAF sensor and Air filter(currently have a K&N air filter)

Is that a nissan Sentra 1.8L? Would a fuel pump also be a cause of a gas leak ?

No the fuel pump wouldn’t be the cause of a leak, but if you’re leaking gas that would most likely be your problem due to low fuel pressure. Your fuel pump is probably fine, in most cases you wouldn’t notice a leak unless your pump was pumping the fuel down the line.

Thanks for the reply. My lines are fine. It’s the prong around the fuel pump connection that’s bad and top seal. The bolts are drained but trying to on blast them open so I can put the replacement and save the tank which is the most expensive

Hello I have a ford escape 2018 and it’s making a loud humming sound coming from the tank. It has caused my check engine light to come on and when it starts to make this humming sound it also causes my auto start/stop message to flash on my dashboard. Can someone please help me out by telling me the real cause of this problem. Don’t want to break down with my kids in the car. Oh I don’t get paid for another two weeks. Do anybody know how long I have before it on me. Pls

@@hostingteamchannel8124 I have a ford focus that’s doing this right now. When I went to replace the fuel filter, before I put the new one in. I put the key in on and barely any fuel came out. Is this a sign of a fuel pump? Also isn’t it supposed to be a steady stream?
