Loistavuutta!! Jump to English... I've listened until 6:00 currently. I must stop now. I hope you'll have time and resources to keep going with music. Enjoyed the death metal etude also. That caught my eye before this....

I love the ethos, it’s very chromatic and dramatic with interesting Melodies and chord ideas. Correct me if I’m wrong but this seems very Danny elfman inspired.

Thank you a lot for taking the time to listen to this! 🙏 But no, I haven't listened to a lot of Danny Elfman film music but I know He uses the same kind of modulations and tonalities as I do. My main influences for this were mostly Shostakovich and Prokofiev, as I adore them greatly. And of course, some John Williams and Rachmaninoff but I think from those it's just a couple of tricks here and there 😁 Nevertheless, composing this was an enormous task and required a massive amount of time. And even thou this doesn't have any sort of "story" or "narrative" in it, I still tried to make it convey a kind of "From Tragic to Triumph" feeling, that's why the ending of a final section is very Major and Heroic and uses same motifs and themes as in the first section, but just transposed to major. And actually, the whole symphony is based on three simple motifs, just developed and variated throughout the piece 😁
