Symmetry 101: don’t get scammed, here’s everything that you truly need to know about facial symmetry

In the next upload I will be sharing with you lots my daily facial excercise/massage routine and If this video does well I might release a series where I address more in more depth whatever part of the whole process you might be interested to know more about, the one to decide will be the comment with the most likes in each video of the series, starting from this upload. Anyhow, for whoever wants to do some further diggings on your own here’s the list of all the sources I’ve used over the last months to gain a decent grasp on the subject, but I really couldn’t be arsed to open each one of them singularly and summarising them by group/headings, so I just chucked in all the references from the reputable sources I found on KZread/reddit and looksmaxxing.org and asked chat gpt to do it for me, the structure is kinda annoying, but hope it’s extensive enough to answer any of the your questions, cheers.

    just to add to this, having an unsymmetrical face does not decrease facial attractiveness since it is normal for humans to be that way, if you have severe asymmetries that someone can easily tell by looking at you then that can hurt your facial attractiveness and having strong symmetry can help increase facial attractiveness. verdict is: if you have facial asymmetries that are not major do not obsess over the matter since it does not make you less attractive but by all means, if you would like to improve it to improve your attractiveness do so in a healthy manner.

    Very good Video! For me my symetry problem comes from my teeth. If my jaw is open my face is straight but after closing my jaw my face goes to the left. It happens when I close my jaw because for some reason my teeth shift to the left. I'll get braces soon and hope my orthodontist can fix it. If all goes well my jaw will be symetrical and my teeth will be straight forward. Hopefully my jaw pain will also go away. Atleast that is what I think is the problem.

On my TikTok I shared a full rultine that applies to more or less every person who might suffer from facial asymmetry, but I’m currently working one where I explain a bit deeper each excercise through a speaking format and it should come out hopefully by tomorrow and maybe, by incorporating some of these excercises you might truly fix the whole thing 👍

  • @Mr.Wollas

    @Mr.Wollas

    4 күн бұрын

    Wow man, that’s a really good question, I never really thought about this, but as far as I know there shouldn’t be any direct correlation, but most definitely indirectly. If I recall correctly pectus excavatum is the condition where there is a sunk-in on your chest right? If that’s the case then, depending on the severity I can see a few things: first a change in posture, someone with this condition will be more likely to have rounded shoulders and forward head posture to compensate for the chest deformity. All of this will definitely put more tension on your neck vertebrae, which by extension might lead to strain on the SCM muscle and contribute to being more likely to develop head tilts/ favouring sleeping in one side as opposed to both or in the back of your head/ mouth breathing and the culmination of all of this eventually lead to TMJ issues as a combination of all these factors and contribute to having more facial asymmetries. Just writing this on the top of my head so I could be just as dead wrong, but it would make sense if it did. I might go and do some further diggings later and come back to you, but for now take this as my two cents piss take

  • @Mr.Wollas

    @@SMK-- address the weaker side like you’d adress any muscle, you want to start things slow and work on progressive overload, start by making small changes, like sleeping on that side for the first 2 weeks, then in the meantime start to chew around a 2/3 on that weaker side, after that start you can start to introduce chewing gums and while still maintaining ideally that 2/3 till the end of the 1st month, after that yup, the mastic gum thing will do, as your massetters should’ve become strong enough to handle the strain and your overall bone structure should’ve had enough conformational change for the treatment to work without having any risk of further complications. However, I’d stop chewing more on the “weaker side” at that point and simply chew the mastic gum on a 2 days on and 2 days off routine for like 3-5 hrs a day. Do that for 2-4 weeks depending on the results you achieve and then consider whether you should stop or continue while at the same time to religiously try to sleep on ur back. @@Eerzii good question, it’s usually(but not always) the opposite side and here’s why: you stop chewing as much on the side with TMJ as you can’t fully open that side of ur jaw, additional strain, discomfort etc, so u subconsciously start to chew more on the opposite side as it’s simply a lot easier, this leads to hypertrophy on that side of ur face and depending on how long you’ve had TMJ for slight atrophy of the weaker side. However, as I said it’s not always the case, if ur TMJ has gone serious enough at some point u start to wear down the joint of the dominant side of your face too and as a result you might end up developing TMJ on both sides of ur jaw and therefore you having TMJ in one or the other side might not necessarily be so much of an indicative factor. Good way to test is, try to fully open ur jaw, if both sides r clicking you’re kinda cooked, as that will most likely require surgery, and if they don’t then you’re good, focus on adrsssing all the things I’ve spoken about in the video and you should see ur results, peace!

I tried with a lot of mouth exercises like mewing or chewing hard gum on one side and then the other and even face massages; My lips, for example, they create a sort of very subtle expression on one side of my face thus aggravating the assimetry effect. Also i struggled with a lazy eye since i was a little child, so that's that too. Do you think there's any solving this? As adressed on the video, sleeping on ur back and lateral chewing will do some work, but that’s not enough tbh, you spend like 1/3 of ur day sleeping, if while being awake your posture isn’t on point, you got neck tilts and such you are really not helping yourself nowhere near as much as you could, I really can’t afford to spend the time rewrite everything down here as it would likely take me at least 1 hour writing back and forth, but all I can say try to adress any deeper problems like body asymmetries, such as pelvis/neck tilts, scholiosis and so on, which are likely to be the reason why your progress might have been a bit underwhelming. Check out my heightmaxx guide and the routine, although on this video I have adressed how body symmetry and posture related might result in facial asymmetry I haven’t really disclosed what interventions you can apply, so if you want to fully grasp the depth of this whole thing, checking those 2 uploads, might be beneficial, peace✌️

    @@abdullahshahbaz4503 there is no diet that is that topical to the jawline area tbh, but yeah Ive been thinking to release a bulking101 and cutting101 uploads recently followed by a gym101, gonna be a lot of effort tho, so I'm trying to see whether there's enough interest

    @@abdullahshahbaz4503 you can address things such a collagen production, to improve tmj related issues with the liquid that slides across the joint and the disc, or higher calcium and Vitamin D intake to promote bone health and development, but if you're done growing all of this will be so minimal that I don't really see the point in investing active efforts into it, the biggest change lies in getting rid of water retention, even more than body fat(relatively), that's what increases the time most overall appeal, dimorphism and "strikeness", but once again, it's all in the grey here. Going through a calorie deficit might be just as detrimental as what you might gain from it as you'd likely set lower your natural genetic potential ceiling.

    My Problem is that my nose is very tilted to one side and my jaw is much weaker on one Side and my neck is a Bit tilted(obviously every Part is tilted to one Side) So my Solution that I thought of would be sleeping on back, Chewing Hard gum and doing your Routine Would that be enough? And maybe fix my posture/neck posture

    @@cannokta someone has paid attention I see🥂, essentially yup, that's pretty much all that you should do in it case, at least If your jawline doesn't click when you try to open it. Just make sure to work up to the hard gum, begin by chewing on the weaker side.on a 2/3 ratio and sleeping on your opposite side for.tbe first 2 weeks, while also performing the exercises, you should see already a decent change, but after that point start to chew again bilaterally and use a mastic gum on a 2 days on and 2 days off split for roughly 2-3 weeks, that should be enough to develop your muscles enough to compensate the lack of use on the weaker side. However if it's still weaker/smaller then keep going for another 2 weeks. In each day you want to chew till you feel some fatigue, but never to the point where you feel your joint wearing down/pain, or any other pressure than on your weaker massetters. Was gonna address that on the video, but better to point out in the next video where I delve deeper on the routine, but its betgee to adress in advance

    @@kyrylo31 if you got palate asymmetry you most likely got an inclined sphenoid bone, one of the symptoms would be having one eye slightly higher than the other or one ear that sticks out a bit more than the other. If that’s the case then you have some “good bad news”, you are likely to have Neck vertebrae issues, which reflect into your overall backbone alignment and therefore posture, which you can fix through chiropractic interventions, stretching, and a few centred weight lifting excercises to adress the problem and sleeping on your back will also do by its own about 30% of the job in case you weren’t doing this before. Cheers

    @@Mr.Wollas yeah, I managed to fix the neck part relaxing my right area of the neck thanks to grounding, I’ve been grounding for a year and the results are great and it manage to not only relax my neck but give a much better and prominent jawline, the problem is the sphenoid bone, it’s still misaligned and not even braces and palate expansion could fix it, it’s unsolvable that’s why I’m really at my limit

  • @Mr.Wollas

    @Mr.Wollas

    10 сағат бұрын

    @@dbdb197 nope, but they help to manage it in two ways, first improving how pressure gets distributed across your jaw and therefore reducing the strain on the joint, which results in reduction of inflammation, one side of ur face being significantly more developed than the other one, and overall facial symmetry as your teeth are occluding in the right way, but nope, it will only be an indirect “fix” as opppsed to direct improvement, tfor that you gotta adress some of the interventions that I have addressed on the vid
