    Thank you Pro. Messer! I'm taking my Security+ exam in one week and I'm a little weak on PKI and Cryptography. This helped me better understand the main differences between the two types of cryptography.

    7:30 Not too sure how you get the same Symmetric Key though from 2 completely different private keys & Public keys. Everyone's got unique private keys, Public makes sense because everyone can see it, but It still doesn't make sense how the output would be the same with a Private Key.

    Diffie-Hellman key exchange initially seems unlikely, but the math works out. Creating a shared secret without sending that secret across the network is a significant feature.

    @professormesser OK, I will look more into this topic through a few 3rd parties. If the math works out I just need to know how you arrive at the same symmetric keys for me to understand. Apart from this, so far my training has been amazing and you're great at explaining in detail. Thanks professor🤘

    Read up on Diffie Hellman Key exchange if you anyone here wants to understand in depth. Basically, there is a public no. shared between both parties. This public no. is multiplied(simplifying here) with each of the private no (private key) on each side. The now mixed keys are shared to each other. So both parties have each others 'private no.*public no.' mixture. The final step is to mix the private no. on each side with the mixture they've gotten. This leads to both parties having the same key, essentially leading to symmetric encryption.
