Ok this was a very tough one (and I knew it pretty well). There is a pattern in this song (a fast passage between the two rides and snare) that I always imagined to be played not with single strokes but a kind of modified paradiddle. I'm not sure if this is the way Gene does, but to me it's great to play this way. Great album, great title-track. r.i.p. Chuck Schuldiner.
