I had a sym jet 21reg . Brand new. 1 year later i came off it and the damages would have cost over £1000, so i sold it for £500. I definitely had the best time of my life on it, gives you so much freedom😊if i has the money id have another one !

Nice video! Unfortunately in Greece the dealership don't bring any Jet 14 LC,so we need to go for the 200 in order to have abs, 2 suspension in rear and digital equipment.

Yeah I know, we import the L/C model straight from Asia.

it is different for different markets. i had an air cooled 200 with ABS and disc brake.

The liquid cooling allows for more compression, thus the higher HP power. Does the LC have abs on the rear disc? Thanks.

Yes, the euro 5 L/C has abs on the rear wheel.

Hi Alex, great review. Whilst on holiday in Greece I had a surprise - a ride on a Peugeot Belville 125 (WC Sym Smartmotion engine 2 valve) vs a Honda SH150. Both a year old. The SH definitely had a higher top speed but the Belville felt punchy in a way the SH didn't. Id take the 0-50 torque/punch over the SH 50+ mph advantage. How does the Jet 14 AC vs LC 125 engine perform? Does the A.C. feel punchy or is the LC much better outright? Thanks!

You can feel the extra power of the LC but the difference is not that huge. Top end on the other hand is better on the LC.

Hi alex, I am desperately trying to find the part number for a new front caliper for a 2018 SYM jet14 AC Euro4. It has a cable style disc brake caliber to the front with no master cylinder at the lever, the rear brake is of the drum variety. I am so confused as to why all the calipers I see have levers and master cylinders attached and don't want to order the wrong part. Any help from you or your viewers would be great.

Nice video! strangely the jet 14 cc 200, which I hope to buy in 2022, is only air cooled but has the same characteristics as the liquid cooled 125, I mean abs, double rear shock absorber and lcd display ...

The 200 is considered a bit like the top of the line jet14 so it gets everything.

hi In Israel we don't have the L/C model only A/C do you still recommend the A/C model ? in 125cc Im a bit worry to buy a scooter without ABS (I don't know how much different it is but it give me comfort)

I ride all year long, I don't mind the cold. Depends what you decide, winter gear exists.

I've never seen an air cooled version. As far as I know they are all liquid cooled.

A lot of people in Greece have problem with the voltage..they say that the battery didn't charge properly whwn you ride the scooter because the projectors are on always, did you hear something about that in your country? I love the style of this scooter and i want to buy it but this problem don't ''let'' me...

12v, nu am auzit de ceva nou care sa mai fie pe 6v, nici nu ai de unde sa găsești becuri sau accesorii pe 6v, totul e 12v

they are lovely scooters, i had the sym jet 14 in blue and bought it in 2019. had it 4 years and only done round 9,500 miles on the clock, sadly two weeks ago it was stolen from my home in the early hours of wednesday. i got a phone call the day after from the police stating they had found my scooter but sadly it was destroyed by fire. i will never understand why vile low life thieves would want to steal peoples property and then set it a light... i do like this newer model especially the front lights as they stand out more etc. thanks for the video, really enjoyed this. not sure if i'd buy another scooter again especially after the theft of mine and the low life scum bags living in the area hmmm.

@@RideWithAlex Absolutely Alex, i'm looking at buying another scooter but this time there will be an anchor drilled to the concrete floor along with a thick lock and chain. and also buying an alarmed disk lock for the front wheel disk as this will secure my bike for sure. i'm not sure what to go for but it's either gonna be the sym jet 14 125cc AC or the sym jet 14 125cc LC or the sym jet x.

Bro do you know the color code of the grey one?

Ambele la fel de fiabile depinde ce buget ai la achiziție și dacă vrei un motor mai simplu sau consum mai mic cu 0.5l/100km

La mine nu conteaza diferenta de 500 de euro,dar vreau sa stiu care e mai fiabil totusi. Sunt constient ca cel racit pe apa necesri un pic mai multa intretinere dar banuiesc ca o sa fie mai durabil. Nu stiu tocmai de aia intreb

@@sergiumanuelgemanaru351 al meu scuter sym e 169cc răcit pe aer cu 42.000km fără probleme, am văzut racite pe aer la 100.000+ fără probleme, în același timp am văzut răcit pe lichid la 114.000km fără probleme deci nu știu ce să-ți zic care e mai fiabil, ambele sunt fiabile asa ca depinde ce este în stoc la dealer. În teorie răcit pe lichid e mai fiabil în timp, dar în același timp motocicleta personala un bmw r1100gs din 96 răcit pe aer are 190.000km și merge ceas. Zic ca fiabilitatea este data de cat de des schimb uleiul și cât de atent ești cu nivelul de ulei, nu de sistemul de răcire. Sistemul de răcire este sistem de răcire motorul este făcut sa funcționeze în toate temperaturile cu sistemul lui de răcire. Ce iti permite răcirea pe lichid este sa ai compresie mai ridicata, de acolo vine și puterea în plus și consumul mai mic.

Vad ca te pricepi,eu nu am mai avut scutere am doar masini si am zis ca ar fi timpul sa mai lasam masina acasa pt ca un scuter e fff practic. M am orientan catre sym adx pt ca am vazut ca are si rezervor mai mare. Ce parere ai de el?

I know symphony is a bit higher and got 16" wheels, but some say that jet is faster. Can you please help me? I want to buy one of these 2. Thanks

Planiram da kupim takav sym 14 ali ovde u Srbiji imaju samo sa vazdušnim hladjenjem pa me zanima kako reagujje na duzi put,koliko je izdrzljiv naspram vodenog hladjenja...Kosta oko 2450 eura...

I guess differences worth the 500 €

Depends if you have the 500

Liquid cooled is 22kg heavier than the Air cooled. The power to weight ratio is virtually identical.
