He has always been very funny. I remember interviews from the 1980s and he always had the interviewer laughing. And he has a healthy level of humility too.
Sylvester Stallone is underrated as a comedian

Same, same same
Charming guy 😄
Love Sly in interviews, great one here with David Letterman in the 90’s. Love his sense of humour and laugh, always had a crush on this handsome big brown eyed Italian superstar actor. Such class and charisma. He is so passionate about film and art. His cute childlike smile is the best. This comedy with the equally great Estelle Getty is brilliant. 😍🥰😘🤩🌟👑⚜️💎🏆📺😆🤣😂❤
He’s hilarious. And GORGEOUS 🫠 Great writer and actor. 💙🥊💙
As a young nobody in Hollywood, he wrote and starred in Rocky, one of the best movies I've ever seen. For that reason alone, he's alright with me.

Good Movie😅 However get to MORE MOVIES....😊
Sly is always full of life when engage with others, and in my opinion is the definitely of a model/epitome of a healthy masculine person. I will always consider Stallone one of my significant role models growing up, and still to this day!

Well said. Totally agree with you.
Sly is a solid dude, he seems like it anyway.
We LOVE Dave’s cold opens.
Now I want to see an art collecting comedy with Stallone
Never saw this side of Stallone. He seems pretty cool as a regular person.
I remember on the CBS show, Dave had a list of people who hadn't been on the show. Three of them were listed as "scared" while Lorne Greene was listed as, "dead." Dave pointed to the list and said, "But if Lorne Greene shows up...." He left it at that.
Dang, I want to go have a couple of beers with THIS guy.

Sly is so goofy
God bless you Mr. letterman, you are truly a legend! I really miss this show
I had forgotten all about Cowboy Junkies!
Stop or My Mom Will Shoot! ..... one of the great Hollywood disasters. Legend has it that Schwarzenegger was offered this film but turned it down. However, Schwarzenegger, being the cunning businessman that he is, faked a keen interest in the role, in order to trick Sly into doing it. It worked, and became a massive career failure for Sly

I remember Sylvester was on a talk show 20 some years ago and he didn't like being called Sly and now everyone calls him Sly
Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone (Nueva York, 6 de julio de 1946) es un actor y cineasta estadounidense.
I always liked Sly, but I wish he wouldn’t put himself or his career down in interviews. Maybe it’s a self-deprecation thing or simply low self-esteem (I can relate), but it always made me a little sad. I mean, it’s not like he was on these shows because no one liked him or his work. I’m pretty sure that he’s beloved by millions and has been for decades. Still had to mention it though. WATCH TULSA KING!!
At 3:30 dave mentions he was on steroids. Ive heard him say this before. He gained lots of weight in the 1980s. i think he did take steroids to help his performance?

OUCH! LOW blow ......
It's too bad Stop or My Mom Will Shoot was so terrible. The year before Stallone showed a great flair for comedy in Oscar.

They should add an optional CRT effect for these videos.
