After 8 years this is still one of those songs we blast when we remember it. I was in my later- 20’s when this came out, our oldest kid who is 15 (with autism, not that it really matters) still remembers it and loves this song. Even though he was 7 when this came out, he tries to act all cool now (he’s 16 in 2 weeks), he still loves this song and loves to dance to it when he thinks I’m not noticing (bless his sweet, innocent heart). It brings back such a good memory of our middle child as a toddler dancing, as toddlers do, and me, having just given birth to our youngest who is almost 8. This song has traveled well with our little family. 💜

This song is a spiritual experience

I'm not the only one who finds this soothing but also depressing, right? Especially the line "wild winter, warm coffee, mom's gone, do you love me? Blazing summer, cold coffee, baby's gone, do you love me?" It's probably because my friend's mom died and my little cousin (she was 12) died. Mom's gone, baby's gone.

I was at band camp, summer of 2013 when I first heard this song. It was recommended to me by a girl that I would spend the next 5 years thinking about and caring for. This song reminds me of simpler times where the only thing important to think about was if she liked me or not. Now I am an adult with responsibilities and the nostalgia burns when I here this. We have since seperated and I hope that she can reminisce on those times as fondly as I can.

I fell asleep with Pandora on and to wake up to this song was so heavenly!

This hypnotic song slowly creeps into the listener's psyche.

This track feels... important.
