I could have picked up 4 of those instead of the mill I have now and been much better off. Largest tool I use is 3/8 end mill and all I cut is plastic, aluminum and copper. Imagine having one machine dedicated to the copper parts I make. Another dedicated to the plastic and another for general stuff.

Mine was installed in an 1850s brick barn with an oak beam 2070 mm (81.5 inches) above the floor. I had to disconnect the cable chains and use thin machine skates. Only thing I didn't realize was that the slots in the base are too narrow for a standard EU pallet truck. Also you need very small toe jacks. The machine movers brought their normal jacks but they were much too tall to fit. 80 inches would perhaps be possible, but watch out for any rocking on the skates.

Meanwhile americans that want to start a machining business, in need of a low entry cost machine to get going, can't sit around waiting.
