its not that they don't want our opinions, its the fact that our ridiculous laws allow them to be held liable and prosecuted for our opinions (defamation, inciting hate or violence etc etc). Therefore they don't wanna risk that so they turn off comments.

Deportation isn't gna do anything, as long as the business operation is there...whether migrant or local, someone will fill that void...plus there will be too much backlash if we deported en mass. Shut down the operation instead.
So they sit in a cell, that’s not going to stop their business, more like a 2 week shutdown.
